The guy who was gullible enough to believe Obama held a military coup and that Antifa super soldiers were going to behead white parents and small business owners is a thinking man.

I don't know what Trump expected when dealing with people like LaVar Ball. Precisely this. He gets to whine and cry like a baby about an assertive black person, which not only serves as an avatar for his resentment politics, but distracts from the horrors of the current tax bill. Begging for a thank you was embarrassing enough as it was. This latest crybaby stunt is even worse. Yes, thinking people. Not like this post at all.

No, I am talking about thinking people who post things like this as you try to Call the President a racist because he yelled at 20 Black people to date... Has nothing to do with the 20 acting with disrespect for the office of the Presidency or America herself, now does it?
He yells at them despite their being Black, not because of it.

He is a racist. He's been fined by the New Jersey gaming commission multiple times for forcing black employees off his casino floor when he and other high rollers are present. He's been fined by the Justice Department for having housing applications marked "C" for colored. He has stated (and reaffirmed) that he doesn't want black people handling or counting his money. When it turned out that five black men accused of rape were innocent, he stated that they should've been put down anyway as they were "one step above an animal". He appointed a man to head the DOJ who was denied a federal judge position because he was deemed to be too racist.
It's undeniable that the man is a racist, and there's a clear pattern as to who he decides to lash out at when he throws his distracting temper tantrums.

And, yes, having high-profile U.S. citizens released after a minor arrest with our biggest trading partner is absolutely routine.
I would say this: In the U.S., shoplifting is a minor arrest. In China, it is not minor. They could've possibly been facing 10 years in prison. To me, that's not "minor". With that said, I believe Trump did what any President would've tried to do. It wasn't a political arrest. It was an arrest/s for breaking the law. China very simply could've said "No. They broke our law, they'll suffer the same consequences as our own citizens would."

How many times has China refused to return U.S. citizens arrested on non-violent or non-political charges?
You guys are talking like this is Iran or North Korea and not a trading partner we are mutually dependent on. We send each other arrested citizens all the time. This one was more glaring because it involved high profile athletes.
That's precisely why it's so embarrassing that Trump A) made it out to seem like a big deal B) begged to be thanked for it and C) threw a fit when he didn't feel like he was properly praised

Your first question: I have no idea.
The rest of your post?
C'mon man.
First, I said "minor" here in the U.S. isn't "minor" in China - unless you consider 3-10 years in prison "minor", cause that's what they could've faced.
I also said Trump did what ANY U.S. president would've done. Well, what any president would've tried to do, anyway.
And further, I'll add this: I think those 3 are lucky they play basketball at a top level school.
Otherwise? I doubt there's even any publicity about it. They did the crime, they do the time is probably how it would've worked out.

From what I understand, these athletes stole some high-ticket items across different stores. Depending on the value and jurisdiction, they could have very well been looking at multiple felonies and several years of prison even here. Of course, most crimes get plea bargained down and don't result in the maximum punishment. I'm not familiar enough with the Chinese judicial system to know how that would have worked there.

LaVar Ball is a idiot no matter what color he happens to be. Of the 22 non-politicians that Trump has thrown temper tantrums over since taking office, 20 were black. It's not a coincidence - he does this for a reason. I'll bet Trump has hired a lot more Black people than you have......Just sayin

And still yet, nobody on the right will address why the president said he should have left "them" in prison when it was only the father of one who made the comment. Hmmm...
Maybe it's because they fully understand that Trump just goes into a rage and Tweets anything that crosses his mind without thinking.
I got responses about "respect". Once again, only the father of one of these players showed any disrespect. Then I got a response about, "trying to make Trumps overseas trip a failure". This thread isn't about his overseas trip. It's about this specific situation.
Some will dance around for miles to avoid addressing any legitimate questions when they have no answer.

My favorite part ,,..
- Trump is alledgely this big racist ...
- the media spent MILLIONS trying to dig up as much dirt as possible ... Bezos put 25 writers whose sole job was to dig up dirt on the trumpster ..
- Hillary spent MILLIONS on a false document that turned out to be ALL LIES ... thats what we know about ... how much other money did they spend chasing their tails on other DEAD ENDS ...
- the NYT wrote a story with women accusing him of being sexist ... yet all but one of the women came out and said they twisted their words and NO WAY WAS TRUMP SEXIST ... the only one that didn’t defend him had an axe to grind with him ..
Yet with all this ... not one person of color has stepped forward and said trump treated them badly ... NOT ONE ... matter of fact a few have come out and said just the opposite and he helped them .. they preface that with “he’s going to get mad I’m saying this because he doesn’t want the attention”
Where are all the VICTIMS of his RACISM ... same with Latinos ... NOT ONE .. they dug up an old buety contestant who he fat shamed her when in fact he stuck up for her ..
Its a LOAD OF CRAP ... just like 80% of their gripes with Trump ...

Maybe it's because they fully understand that Trump just goes into a rage and Tweets anything that crosses his mind without thinking That's certainly the most alarming thing about the whole deal. He clearly has no regard or feeling of duty for the country, nor does he appear capable of understanding the magnitude of his position. To him, everything is at that base reaction level - whether it's the dude from the teenage vampire movies or Kim Jong-Un, it's nothing more than visceral knee-jerk reaction with him.

So you're still not willing to address that one of these kids dad dissed him and in response he said he should have left all three in prison?
Could you address the question instead of going into some Trump like rant?

Something like that, but let Trump be honest and speak his mind and he has no regard or feeling for the country. Is it posiible you have a agenda?

LaVar Ball is most certainly a moron, but no one can deny he's assertive. Trump is a paper tiger - he's a coward and a simpleton, and deep down inside, I think he knows this. He doesn't take on all comers. For example, Popovich embarrasses him constantly. Easily more than anyone in sports. But Trump won't pick a public feud with Pop. Why? Because there's no political capital in him going at an outspoken Air Force veteran. There is, however, political capital in him going at say, Kaepernick or Ball. And that capital is racist in nature.

In my mind, what, 40? What specifically, in that characterization do you take exception with?
You said earlier that Trump had the heart of a lion and goes after anyone who disprespects him. Why do you think he's radio silent on Gregg Popovich, who disprespects him on a daily basis, far worse than any other member of professional sports?

My opinion is Trump doesn't have to say anything to Gregg as Gregg does enough of a job tearing himself up over President Trump.
He goes on like a rabid dog, his hate will eventually consume him.
Why? What is your opinion of why the President doesn't confront Gregg?

What is your opinion of why the President doesn't confront Gregg? 1) Trump isn't even aware of Pop's comments, because he spends all of his time golfing and watching "Fox & Friends" - when he throws a temper tantrum, you can almost always clock it to about 6-12 minutes after "Fox & Friends" discusses whatever his hissy fit is about 2) There's no political capital in it for him. Usually when he has these temper tantrums, they revolve around his failure as a president, and are often a jolt in the arm to his base. So people like Kap and Ball will get the blood boiling. Pop? Not so much. Not much racial dogwhistle capital in Popovich 3) Popovich is smart. Trump almost never picks fights with intelligent people, because deep down inside I think he knows he's a terrified fraud and a dullard And again - you avoided answering the question: If Trump has the heart of a lion and fears no man, going after anyone who disrespects him, as you say, why does he not go after a man who disrespects him more than just about anyone?

Oh well, I think my opinion is closer to the truth. It would help if you tried to explain your opinion. So far it seems like you're going really out of your way to avoid doing so. You said that Trump has the heart of a lion and fears no man. When he's disrespected, you said, he gets in there and fights. But for some reason, he seems to not go after a lot of people. The people who disrespect him the most, actually. That doesn't make a whole lot of sense, and when I ask you to explain why, you keeping avoiding answering the question. Very similar to earlier today, when you tried to say Trump wasn't racist, and when I cited a litany of concrete examples of Trump being racist you answered back that I looked like a turkey. And now here you are, withered down to "well, I think I'm right. Because." Kind of weird, seeing as you claim to be a thinking man. One would trust that a thinking man would be able to back up his opinions on a base or even rudimentary level rather than retreating from simple questions he can't answer. You are a white guy aren't you? What possible relevance could my answer have?

I think my opinion was self explanatory, read it again. It most certainly was not. Let's take a look: My opinion is Trump doesn't have to say anything to Gregg as Gregg does enough of a job tearing himself up over President Trump.
He goes on like a rabid dog, his hate will eventually consume him. See, this doesn't answer the question I posed to you at all. You could make the same blathering argument about Ball or Kaepernick. There's nothing in there specific to Popovich at all. You're merely avoiding the question. Why do you think Trump throws all these hissy fits at people like Ball and Kaepernick, but not people like Popovich? I've explained in numbered detail why I think so. For some reason, you keep going out of your way to avoid answering. Your quote above gives no specifics in any way, shape or form. You could've said "Popovich sucks" and made a fart noise, and that answer would have held just as much depth. Your argument is that Trump goes after people like Kap or Ball because they disrespect him. And yet, Popovich disrespects Trump far more often, and to a bigger audience, and yet Trump says nothing. This doesn't square with your logic, and you're trying very hard to worm out of acknowledging that fact. So now I know you are white.
How do I know this you might ask?
Simple deduction that you yourself taught me...

Who in gods name says crap like that? I really am ticked off at trump supporters for the embarrassment they put into the oval. Should be absolutely ashamed of themselves.

Who in gods name says crap like that? I really am ticked off at trump supporters for the embarrassment they put into the oval. Should be absolutely ashamed of themselves. A while back I relayed a famous writer's opinion that many Trump supporters were looking for a better economy and some free entertainment along the way. How right that turned out to be. You can be outraged at Trump's tweets all you want to be and I'll sit back and continue to laugh. I know which side of that equation I want to be on. By the way, where's the outrage that 3 adult American athletes were brazenly stealing high-priced items across multiple stores in a foreign country. Those athletes reflect horribly on our country. They would have likely (and rightfully) been charged with multiple counts of felonies each if they had committed those crimes in the United States. But we're going to get mad because the President rants about it on Twitter? Ha!

Funny cause the black guy provided economy you’re giving trump credit for now, except he actually knows how to behave in public, yet you didn’t give him any credit.
