true, but the people who voted for him are the same ones who willingly live in places that flood like crazy, or dead smack in tornado alley, so the argument could be made that those who voted for him aren't in their right minds, either.
"i was born here, imma die here!!!" I’ll never really understand that mentality. Horrible weather, no jobs, opioid epidemics, no real chance at a future... ”I’m staying!!” On a bigger scale roughly only 30% of Americans have passports. My guess in a lot of those states, and that voting block, the number dips well below 10%. What I find funny is how those who didn't vote for him are still losers. They say things like the rest of the country is stupid when it is actually they who lost and remain losers. Funny how that works. Losers pointing fingers at winners. Oh so smart and wise and enlightened losers. well you'll get that seeing as the guy you voted for does not have majority support. he didn't have it then, and he doesn't have it now. you do understand that, right? the majority of this country did not what the clown you decided to vote for.

You know what else I find funny?
The Losers cry and whine about every tax plan, medical plan, immigration plan, etc... Yet they have zero representation in Washington these days as the Democrats have decided to collect their pay without doing their elected duty, which is to represent the people who sent them to Washington.
Washington doesn't work by what you have to say, it works by the way your wishes are represented by your elected officials.
I urge all Democrats to call their Senators and Congressmen to ask what they have done to represent your wishes.
Maybe they will answer, "Well, nothing, but we hated Trump for you!"
So please, Democrats, stop complaining as you are invisible when it comes to the halls of our Government.
You have no say. You are invisible. You will take what MY representatives serve you according to MY wishes. your representatives have control of every aspect of congress. repeal and replace the ACA: dud Tax plan: so far looks like a dud. looks like your own representatives can't even serve you according to your own wishes. so what exactly are you celebrating? you're like the morons who bought that Pontiac Aztek, then tried so hard to convince themselves it was a good car even though everybody and their mama is telling them what a piece of trash it is.

"i was born here, imma die here!!!" I am going to chalk that up to stupidity, and ignorance instead of your true feelings bro. As that has to be the dumbest thing you have ever said on these message boards.

Horrible weather, no jobs, opioid epidemics, no real chance at a future... ”I’m staying!!” I guess you never really understood the people who said I am going to stay here in fight with my family and friends instead of acting like a baby kitten then. do people knowingly and willingly live in places that have a high risk of flooding?
yes.
do people knowingly and willingly live in places that are in tornado alley?
yes.
so what part of that is ignorance and non-factual?

To some degree I agree with you, but to some extent I disagree.
It's hard to stay and fight for your family when there are no jobs. I mean the people you vote for claim they will bring jobs. They tell you they will turn the economy around. But when you live in an area that newer, well paying jobs simply won't move to, how is staying in the best interest of your family?
I'll give you an example. My family, former generation, lived in the mountains of SE Kentucky. Coal mines and lumber were the only jobs in that area when my parents generation were growing up. And once the lumber was gone, so were those jobs.
My dad and much of my family joined the military. When leaving the military they came to Ohio. They knew industry wouldn't be locating to those mountains. They knew they could get good union jobs in Ohio and also knew that when leaving the military, they could easily get hired to those jobs.
As such, they all bought nice homes, new cars and lived a good life with a much better education for their children. They felt leaving was their best option to fight for their family and give their family a good life.
Some never did leave. As such, they continued to struggle and live in poverty. When all you've ever known is mountain life, it's hard to call it "running and looking out for yourself". You see, it takes courage to move to a place you've never been. To have to get a job doing something you've never done.
One can look at it as turning your back on family and friends. Others look at it as doing what you think is best for your family. For striking out and taking advantage of opportunities. In the case of my family, I'm glad my dad decided to leave the mountains and give his children a better life.
And let's be honest, if everyone looked at it the way you are in your post, the west would never have been settled and there would never have been any pioneers. People have struck out on their own searching for a better life since we have been a nation.

So your saying EVERYBODY who voted for him lives in tornado ally, or places that flood like crazy. Or that people who voted for him are not in their right minds. Lets call a spade a spade here. That's like me saying ALL BLACK people live in getto's and are to damn ignorant and stupid to move out. Your post was 100 percent BS

lets take a look at tornado alley: hmm...that's interesting. hey, which way did those states go in the generals? https://www.270towin.com/maps/2016-actual-electoral-maptornado alley...is that all of america? or a strip of the country? so, does that also mean i didn't say "EVERYBODY", but made a (semi-serious)correlation between people who voted for trump and living in high risk zones for natural disasters? just admit you're triggered.

To some degree I agree with you, but to some extent I disagree Thats cool bro It's hard to stay and fight for your family when there are no jobs. I mean the people you vote for claim they will bring jobs. They tell you they will turn the economy around. But when you live in an area that newer, well paying jobs simply won't move to, how is staying in the best interest of your family? I have to call BS buddy. I stayed here. Most people packed up and moved away years ago right after High School. I stayed and fought. I had only a High School Education and worked my ass off to end up making 140k per year in an area where the average income was 20,000 per year. I did not run away like so many kitty cats did in this area. I stayed and did my best to help those around me. I made my money locally and I spent it locally. You see, it takes courage to move to a place you've never been. To have to get a job doing something you've never done. But it takes even more courage to stay and fight. And let's be honest, if everyone looked at it the way you are in your post, the west would never have been settled and there would never have been any pioneers. People have struck out on their own searching for a better life since we have been a nation. If you want to be honest if everybody had headed out west there would be no americans living in the mid west, and in the east today. Those who made this country great were the ones who stayed and fought.

My ancesters were Indian, and German, with my German Ancesters coming over in the early 1900's and living up north. Not a single one of them ever owned a slave. Scale back the hatred bro.

I think the best way forward politically is to show people a better option. People who actively cheerlead Trump certainly deserve to be made fun of, sure. But they also deserve quality health care, competent relief operations when natural disasters strike, etc.

people can understand just fine.
people who choose to put their families in high risk zones can not claim they are capable of making sound decisions on a consistent basis.
I was stationed in Oklahoma when the Tornado hit Moore in 2013 or 14.
and you know what a lot of those people did? rebuild like it wasn't ever gonna happen again.
not smart.

I don't really think Trump has any point to drive across outside of "everybody pay attention to me". He's the most impressionable person ever, completely malleable.
If he was assured tomorrow that banning any and all guns or offering slave reparations would make him widely beloved, he would do it in a heartbeat.

not smart. Do you know how expensive it is to move? Or how hard it is to find a job in another part of the country? yes as i've moved multiple times. are you saying these people never had the opportunity to move? and hell, you don't even have to move out of the state, but maybe it would be smart not to live in an area like Moore, which has been hit by a tornado 4 times in 16 years. now, i'm not a scientist or a mathematician, but something tells me that the cost of constantly rebuilding and buying new things due to natural disasters is a lot more than, i dunno, maybe moving 20-30 miles down the road? maybe closer to the city? oops, nevermind, scratch that: April 25, 1893 (2) May 12, 1896 (2) June 21, 1942 (2) March 20, 1948 (2) April 30, 1949 (2) April 30, 1951 (2) June 3, 1956 (2) April 28, 1960 (3) May 21, 1961 (2) August 31, 1965 (3) September 19, 1965 (2) June 10, 1967 (2) April 30, 1970 (2) June 8, 1974 (5) April 30, 1978 (3) March 28, 1988 (2) June 13, 1998 (4) May 3, 1999 (4) October 22, 2000 (2) May 8, 2003 (2) May 9, 2003 (3) November 10, 2004 (2) May 7, 2008 (2) February 10, 2009 (2) May 10, 2010 (4) May 31, 2013 (5) April 26, 2016 (2) https://www.weather.gov/oun/tornadodata-okcthats a list of tornadoes that have struck the OKC area.....at least twice the SAME DAY. so to answer your semi-loaded question, yes, i know how expensive it is to move, or to essentially start over. but it beats being DEAD.

true, but the people who voted for him are the same ones who willingly live in places that flood like crazy, or dead smack in tornado alley, so the argument could be made that those who voted for him aren't in their right minds, either.
"i was born here, imma die here!!!" I am going to chalk that up to stupidity, and ignorance instead of your true feelings bro. As that has to be the dumbest thing you have ever said on these message boards. Dumbest thing hes ever said on here ... HOLY CRAP BATMAN .. i didn’t think anyone could clear that bar ... its flush up to the cieling ... if anyone could do it, its certainly him ...

Diam is that dude who will trash talk someone behind their back but when confronted directly, folds.
“To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public.”
- Theodore Roosevelt

so to answer your semi-loaded question, yes, i know how expensive it is to move, or to essentially start over.
but it beats being DEAD. Engaging in preventative health care measures to avoid or catch serious illness beats not doing so, but, again, most people can't afford it. Let's say Guy X is in the middle of Tornado Alley. He works at the Safeway deli, his mortgage is underwater, and he's still paying out of pocket to meet his deductible for his wife's medical treatment. He can barely keep his chin above water as is. How is he going to move? And where? Those aren't loaded questions. They're pertinent ones.
