Everyone has the opportunity to make ill-formed opinions. What separates the validity of opinions rests in the strength of the argument.

Are you arguing you're oppresed because you opinion holds less weight than a Native American who received insulting treatment from President Trump?

Let's talk about argument and opinion for a minute.

Argument and persuasion remain built on ethos, logos, and pathos.
Ethos-Why we should trust a person because of their personal experience.
Logos-Actual factual information on the topic at hand.
Pathos-An emotional quality that can convince a person.

Authentic statements hold more weight than GOP talking points.

Just much like the reality of Britain holds more weight than false statements about "no-go" zones.

Two things from your post. No, I am not arguing that his opinion holds more or less weight than mine. I'm arguing that the media is trying to portray his opinion holds more sway because he's Sioux.

The populace and the police in GB call them "no go zones", not the UK government. It doesn't mean they don't exist. I have family over there that tells me they do.

Native American's opinion holds more weight than anyone else. You just choose to use "LOL liberal" to dismiss his ethos. This is a logical fallacy.

Are you sure you know what equality means?

Of course he does... to him it means "You'll believe what I believe, and then we'll be equal!"

Who here actually believe's 40 is capable of making such a subtle yet obvious pun with his use of "reservation"?

That question alone to me has been the most thought provoking thing I've come across on this thread sadly.

Pretty much never, as we're all not the same sized, same colored grey blobs. I do find it interesting that people who keep clamoring for equality only want it for some.

Back when America was great. Pre-1964.

Me.

I've seen it from him too often to consider this a fluke.

Just last week (or two), it was black folk... and his same level 'clever' was in evidence then. Every time he does it, I bust him in front of the rest of the board.

Does his graffiti come under the 'broken windows policy?'

Well the answer lies in the subtle bigotry of the pun. In those terms, the only answer is Yes 40 meant to do it.

It wasn't a name you dropped. It was a snarky, thinly-veiled reference, just like the 'reservation' crack.

One could almost see the smirk on your face as you typed it out.

Descendant Of Pocahontas Not Offended By Trump [VIDEO]

Amber Athey
Media Reporter

11/28/2017

It turns out that an actual descendant of Pocahontas does not take any offense to President Donald Trump jokingly referring to Elizabeth Warren as “Pocahontas.”
In a September interview with Sky News, Debbie “White Dove” Porreco said that Trump once asked her if it offended her that he used the name “Pocahontas” to refer to the Democratic senator.
“I know that he uses ‘Pocahontas’ sometimes with Elizabeth Warren,” Porreco explained. “He said, ‘well does that offend you when I use that?’ And I told him no, it doesn’t offend me.”

“If Pocahontas were alive today, she would be very proud of President Trump,” Porreco said. “Just like Pocahontas was a heroine, Donald Trump is going to be our hero.”
