Will someone else please evaluate this kid?

I cannot find anything wrong with his game.

This kid looks to me like the best WR prospect since Megatron and Most of these expert sites don't have him in the first round.

The kid is big, fast, agile, physical, has great hops, catches everything, runs great routes and knows how to use his body.

I can't find a single thing wrong with him.

What the heck am I missing?

I think a second round grade is fair. He is big and fast. Very smart. I think I read he was 4.0 student in HS, but that might be incorrect.

I think that while he has the height, he isn't all that good at winning contested throws and his blocking is lacking. He is a big play guy and ND's QB situation has to be considered.

Blocking is one thing I didn't look at. I will take a better look at far as contested throws though. I saw domination. Is there a particular game that you remember on the contested throws Vers?

Can’t just be throwing out megatron comparisons.

That’s a high high high standard to achieve.

Yeah, Megatron was very strong and did a great job of high-pointing the ball and catching it well in traffic.

Megatron now, or Megatron coming out of college?

I could see how a 12 year old would view it that way.

He is still the best prospect I've seen since Megatron.

Perhaps you could throw out some actual insight and analysis out there between hyperbole to maybe say what you think ESB is good at and what he is not good at? Maybe with some random capital letters?

So you got nothing then? At least you got those random capital letters in and a few emoticons to boot.

Don't post analysis in the thread that's here for it. Have everyone PM you individually for it. Thanks for taking the time away from your Xbox to reply.

You obviously know nothing about Diam. Yeah, he's a little rough around the edges, but he knows how to judge prospects. Especially considering he's the most ardent Notre Dame fan on this board. I haven't seen the kid enough to even add my two cents, but trying to blow off Diams opinion on the kid with insults really holds no value.

But I do understand how he can ruffle feathers. lol

I lived in Atlanta when Calvin played for Ga. Tech. He earned the named Megatron. He was unstoppable. If Tech had a quarterback he would have set every receiver record.

One of the most dominate receivers I have ever seen coming out of college.

When he came into the pros he showed what he could do. Just a monster player.

I've actually seen quite a few people compare ESB to AJ Green, so a Megatron comparison might not be completely out of the question. I haven't seen enough of him to really give any worthwhile insight, but I have liked what I seen in regards to his fluidity while running routes and his size. I do wonder about his hands and if he can beat press coverage and what not.

Equanimeous St. Brown*, WR, Notre Dame
Height: 6-4. Weight: 205.
Projected 40 Time: 4.50.
Projected Round (2018): 1-3.

12/2/17: St. Brown has 31 receptions for 468 yards and four touchdowns on the year. Throughout this season, St. Brown has gotten open while also seeing a lot of double teams, but the immense struggles of Notre Dame's quarterback play and passing offense have limited St. Brown.

7/17/17: Sources who have done advance work on the 2018 class are really impressed and intrigued with St. Brown. They say he is a super-polished route runner with tremendous speed, athletic ability, body control, and hands. They said they think St. Brown could be more gifted and talented than the three wideouts who went in the top 10 of the 2017 NFL Draft, but St. Brown gets fewer opportunities to show his skill. In 2016, he had 58 receptions for 961 yards with nine touchdowns.

I'm actually seeing what Vers mentioned about high pointing the ball, now that I'm looking for it. But, given his size, most of the passes that he's getting aren't high enough for him to go up for. I'm trying to find more plays where he's asked to block, but not having any luck so far. He is very physical on the contested passes though. Especially in the endzone.

It's not something that I'm dying to read anyway. He can keep things in his treehouse if he wants to.

I have him second to Sutton. Love his size, fluidity, fast, good hands. If he's there in the second we'd have to take him. Probably won't be. I think we'll be looking at Sutton, or one of the safeties, or a CB with our second 1st but you never know, he could jump up the board along the way.

I like Sutton too. Throw in Arden Tate and Simmie Cobbs and there are a lot of big talented WRs in this draft.

Burnett, Cain, Washington... If we don't have a much improved receiving corps next year, there's a serious problem.
