"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

The first of what could be a bunch of firings.
I wouldn't be surprised if Hue Jackson, Chuck Pagano, Bill O'Brien, Vance Joseph, Dirk Koetter, and John Fox were all fired. Then you have the maybes like Jason Garrett, Marvin Lewis, Bruce Arians (retirement not firing), and Jack del Rio.

No way does del Rio get fired. The Raiders are falling well short of expectations. I don't think he will be fired, I also don't think he should be very comfortable. Oakland is currently 6-6, if the finish 7-9 or 6-10 I would guess that del Rio is toast.

I have to say I always thought it was weird that the Giants hired McAdoo in the first place. They wanted to distance themselves from Coughlin, so they hired one of his assistants. That doesn't make sense.

McAdoo should have been fired for his ridiculous use of hair gel alone.
I can’t see how he could look in the mirror and think that was an acceptable look and then put on those giant black Florida retiree sunglasses to complete the look. Good grief.

The letting go of the GM is arguably the bigger move, imo.

I may be alone in the wilderness on this, but I believe hue will be back next year. less sure about front office. the only person I would like fired is the guy who decided that wentz was not worth drafting. that is especially true if our coach wanted him. the exec who overruled him (if one did) should be gone.

Del Rio’s going NO WHERE ... Nor is Vance Joseph ... John Elway is NOT THE THIEF ....

Elway needs to settle that QB spot though. so far the only good move he's made is bringing in an already established QB in manning. he hasn't hit on anything in the draft.

Well if Reese did like Hue, then I would think that would make the transition go well, wouldn't have to worry about the next GM bringing in his own guy to coach, gives HUe at least 1 more year

Isn’t this all much about a McAdoo about nothing? It sounds better in your head, than it looks on the page/screen;. I saw what you were doing there, solid attempt.

Unfortunately Hue is pretty much done in Cleveland.
And our front office will most likely stay in place...or at least have a decent chance of sticking around.

If Jimmy Haslam was not the owner of the team, we would be a very attractive spot for a coach to land. We have a bajillion picks, tons of cap space, several very talented young players, and a front office that could probably be pushed aside very easily. Alas, Jimmy Haslam is our owner. We will probably fire Hue Jackson and end up with Jeff Fisher.

Why would any coach want to work for an organization w/Sashi Brown in charge of the roster? LMAO

I have always questioned why Hue accepted this job. I wondered if he was lied to. I never understood why he came to a team that was guaranteed to lose so many game for the first 2-3 years.
It never made any sense to me, especially since other teams were interested in hiring him.

well, if we fire hue at the end of the season, it won't be near the media drama with what we're seeing with the Giants right now.
yikes.

when Hue chose us over the Giants I was pretty surprised. I wonder if he would have done any better there

The Browns have brought in a good amount of talent and have improved this roster considerably in two years. They are also set up nicely to add additional talent in the upcoming draft, mainly at quarterback with the #1 overall pick. Browns probably have the most attractive head coaching job this off-season.
