Me too. I think his presence really opened things up for us. Njoku really benefited from having Josh on the field. We had guys open all over. We just need a qb who can throw the ball accurately. We could trade JG for a 1 or a 2 now. Plus Kap is still avail. No we can't. Trade deadline has passed. I thought Kaep is a FA?

I believe he was referring to the part about trading Gordon.
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

...no doubt, after the 2016 season, some Rams fans thought Goff would be better suited doing something other than being a NFL QB. ...then they replaced their coach and now they're in first place! And the Browns have fired coach after coach and continue to remain in last place.

He has so much talent.
So obviously the smart thing to do is trade him in the off-season.

Randall covered Gordon for most of the Packers' 27-21 overtime victory over the winless Browns and after the game said, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel that Gordon “had one catch. Any more questions?” Gordon was playing in just his second game since Week 16 of the 2014 season because of an NFL suspension. He actually caught three passes for 69 yards, including an 18-yard touchdown -- his first score since Week 15 of the 2013 season --- but it came when the Packers were in zone coverage, so Randall wasn't on him. ADVERTISEMENT When word of Randall's postgame comment reached Gordon, he responded Monday on Twitter with this post: Flash Gordon ✔ @JOSH_GORDONXII Great Win for them but let’s be serious.. Considering several of our disadvantages as a team, this kid couldn’t hold my jock strap on my worst day lol..@RandallTime https://twitter.com/pgpackersnews/status/940033365456986114 … 6:53 AM - Dec 11, 2017 967 967 Replies 20,111 20,111 Retweets 45,034 45,034 likes Twitter Ads info and privacy To which Randall, referring to Gordon's past problems with substance abuse, replied: "You must be on that s--- again” Browns coach Hue Jackson said he doesn't want his players getting "caught up into social media bantering back and forth." "I want us to do our talking on the field with our play, and that's where the focus needs to be," Jackson said Monday. "Because that's what it's going to take to get us to winning. Talking isn't going to do anything, and I'm sure the emotions are high. We were close to having an opportunity [to win]. We didn't finish. He didn't really make a huge catch in the second half. So I think that all stuff fuels into it." http://www.espn.com/blog/green-bay-packe...ight-to-twittergood for Gordon. no need to let other players talk smack for free.

Low Blow on Randall's part, but even Randall himself knows he can't cover Gordon.

I'll watch the game again tonight.
but I don't remember him being targeted one time in the second half...If that's true then Kizer made him a non factor.

REGARDLESS of why ... he was a NON FACTOR after the 1st series ....
He got SHUTDOWN .... 3 receptions .... Pffffft ....

3 catches, 69 yds, and a TD
meh not bad...
I'd be happier with 6 catches to be honest.
I think just being on the field he makes us better.
18 yd TD was a hellva catch.

haha I get where you're coming from bro. I really do.
But at the same time, where I'm from when someone takes a shot at you, you fire back...
lol I like fire, so far he and peppers have that aggression.
I am looking for our version of James Harrison or Ray Lewis type of fire.
idk bro gets me a lil tingly lol

I agree with you about the running your mouth part, but I'm also with dawgpound... I like the fire and vastly prefer shooting back (even in a loss) vs just rolling over. Also, Gordon may not have been a factor in the second half, but Coleman was.

Which actually makes Gordon a factor. I read somewhere on here where a post said that GB adjusted to Gordon by rolling their coverage that way but we did not adjust. LOL Well, we adjusted by not forcing the ball to Gordon and taking advantage of the one-on-coverages w/Coleman. But, Hue is an idiot and he doesn't know how to scheme or play call. Only our half-dozen or so posters do.

Only our half-dozen or so posters do. So THAT's Hue's genius? Gordon as a decoy. Got it. Randall could only cover Gordon by holding him. Targeting a guy like Gordon only TWICE in the entire second half would be the polar opposite of 'forcing the ball'. Both of those things are equally stupid. I'd wager that a team could triple team Gordon and roll coverage to him all day long and a halfway decent coach would still figure out how to target that guy more than two times in a half. Hue's scheme or play call has resulted in an epic 1-28 record under his tutelage...shocking that people would be critical of him.

Here is the thing..........if Hue would have targeted Gordon more, the same guys who are blasting him for NOT throwing to Gordon would be screaming that he was trying to force the ball to Gordon despite double coverage.

How do # of targets fall on Hue? He may call the play but it's up to Kizer to determine who the ball goes to. If he wasn't open he shouldn't be throwing to him. If they're shading the safety, Kizer's making the correct reads throwing away from him. Am I missing something?

It's no coincidence that the drop in targets to Gordon coincided with the rise in targets to Coleman and others.

Is that not what happened when last Gordon came back? And Hoyer was stuck be damned it was Gordon or nothing. at least that is how I remember it.

Kizer does need to force it to Gordon, especially when the other team is holding him like GB did. Kizer needs to get Gordon those PI calls so GB would stop being so handsy in their coverage.
