Ohio University vs Alabama-Birmingham in the BAHAMAS BOWL.
yay that'd be a fun bowl game to get invited to
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

I think a 2 loss Toledo deserves it more than anyone else. I was at that MAC championship game in Detroit. I actually hate Akron but my son is in the band and it is pretty cool to see your kid perform on a national stage. But the refs played way too large of a role in killing Akrons momentum

My point is that placing too much importance on one game is ignorant. It is about the body of the work. NOT ONE GAME! If it was ONE game , we would probably be in , but the issue is that it is TWO games, as in TWO losses . Try educating yourself and stop talking out of your behind

I am just saying.....OSU got a pass in last year and crapped the bed with a 30 point loss. to Clemson.
Add in a 30 point loss to IOWA this year, and you really expected to get in this year? And the year before, Michigan State won the big 10 and had 1 loss to an unranked Nebraska team.. they got in and Alabama promptly beat them 38-0.. I was kind of hoping OSU got in but if they did, they needed to show up.. getting spanked 3 times in a row as a conference becomes a pattern and kills your ability to question others strength of schedule. People love mentioning this, but always seem to forget who won the first Championship. What, does that not count? The bias against Ohio State is sickening.

I was talking about the public and the media. Not the committee. But, carry on.

I wonder how much the ratings another clemson/bama matchup would get played into their decision.
It's supposed to be hard! If it wasn't hard, everyone would do it. The hard... is what makes it great!

I wonder how much the ratings another clemson/bama matchup would get played into their decision. I don't think that played any factor in it. Ohio State is a ratings monster, and probably the biggest draw in all of college football. They have tons of fans all over the country, but also tons of people who just don't like them and tune in to see if they lose. It's the Iowa loss that got Ohio State, and we can't really argue it. Ohio State presented a nice case, with a few really good wins, a conference championship. You can't really make a case for Alabama other than Ohio State losing to Iowa, which is pretty hilarious.

You all seem to forget about Ohio State beating Alabama and winning the 2014 National Title ... If you want to go back go all the way back to when they started the 4 team playoff ... I didn't forget about it.. just pointed out that was the last time the B1G scored a point in the NCAA football playoffs.... January 12, 2015...
