Please think some prayers and positive thoughts to a wonderful person and good friend of my family. He has a recent spinal cord injury in his neck and currently is paralyzed from the neck down.

I lost my brother to spinal cord injury a few years ago. His injury was at the C5 level in his spinal column, quadriplegic. He was on a vent for months and never fully recovered. He lived for 12 years or so after his accident. He had made some progress but had so many setbacks and the bed sores did him in with bad infections that couldn't be cured with known antibiotics. Really hoping your friend doesn't have to go through the same type of ordeal, it's hell.

A bit of good news today. I heard from my friend's sister that the doctors were able to stimulate his right leg to move a little bit.
