What you guys often refer to as empathy, I see as suffering fools.

I don't suffer fools well.

Simply put: We fear death. They do not.

As long as we fear, cry, experience PTSD and send "thoughts and prayers"...we will never defeat them.

We may have advanced technology and weaponry but, they do none of the above. They laugh in the face of our soft Western emotions and enjoy putting fear in our society. And, if that doesn't work they will continue sending their opium to us and turn us into narcotic zombies. And what do we do? We keep willingly buying it up and asking for more. Everybody who supplies the US with our chemical and narcotic dependence is in on the trick and millions of Americans stupidly can't see past it.

We were good, caring, loving people when we annihilated the Nazi's.

They were true believers in the cause and we could be considered weak at the time.

They still exist but are not the threat they once were.

......Yet

Different enemy and different circumstances. They still had Western norms with respects to fearing death they just tried to control who died and who didn't. They were also not acting as martyrs to destroy their enemy. Also, they had a uniform, which made it easy for us to know who the "enemy" was on a conventional battlefield.

Iraq declares victory in war against ISIS

Iraq declared its war against the Islamic State was over after more than three years of combat operations drove extremist fighters from all of the territories they once held.

Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi announced Iraqi forces were in full control of the country’s border with Syria during remarks at a conference in Baghdad, and his spokesman said the development marked the end of the military fight against ISIS.

A senior military commander confirmed to The Associated Press that combat operations had been completed.
