A scant two attempts to get Gordon the ball in the second half tells me that the OC couldn't adjust his play-calling when his stud player was better-covered. Oh the horror...might as well just forfeit then. Teams figure out how to attack us all the time...we let them attack us and blame everything on the players. Maybe Hue just needs a WR more dominant than Gordon so his schemes can work. Hue is 1-28.

and blame everything on the players. because it is the players' JOB to do things. Rather than just blindly blaming Hue, why don't you list specifics of what it was he didn't do. What magical play call are you imagining that would have Gordon get open when he wasn't getting himself open? Is there some silver bullet of a route he could run that would cause their defense to stop doing everything they can to take him away and instead say "nah, he's on that route, we can skip him this play.... oh, jeez! He caught the ball, OMFG!!"??? Adjusting - the thing you don't think they are doing, is what they are doing when they instead get the ball to Coleman. The purpose of the game is to keep the offense moving, not to get Gordon stats. If their defense wants to devote extra guys to covering Gordon, then we take what they leave weakened -- the coverage on Coleman.
Browns is the Browns
... there goes Joe Thomas, the best there ever was in this game.

See, I thought that's what coaches were supposed to do. Find where the opponents weaknesses are and try to exploit those weaknesses. Oh the horror of it all!
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

No Pit, coaches are supposed to force the ball to one receiver despite double coverage and ignore the one-on-one match-ups.
Well, that is, until they do force it into double coverage and then they are idiots for doing so and not exploiting the single coverage match-ups.
It's how the Hue Hate Club operates. Heck, I think it was in this very thread where a poster or three talked about they hoped Hue wouldn't force the ball to Gordon.

Coaches are supposed to try to put their best WR's earlier in the read progressions when their rookie QB is struggling to make read progressions.
Well, good coaches that is.

With Josh those short quick passes could turn into big gains. He's done it before.

Ignore him. He's one of the guys I was talking about.
If Hue forces the ball into double coverage, he would be crying about how Hue is forcing the ball and not taking advantage of what the defense is giving him, which would prove that Hue can't scheme or call plays.
His lack of objectivity is nauseating.

I remember some people railing Sashi on this forum for keeping Gordon. Said he'd never be the same player and that he would screw it up. Now they celebrate Hue calling plays for him. Now they say JG is making everyone better.

That high safety forces to CB's and LB's deeper as well.

j/c...
One thing I didn't like in this last game and it was just one play but still.
Kizer was able to scramble to his right and get away from his rush...Gordon who's route had him in the middle of the field...instead of keep working to get open he just gave up and didn't do anything. I didn't like that at all he could have gotten free and made a big play??? It was here that I mentally was questioning that possibly he just is out of Football playing shape despite his Chiseled body the stamina might not of been there. It was the only thing I could come up with in his defense and I really didn't like it at all!

That high safety forces to CB's and LB's deeper as well. I won't be suprised this week if our linebackers are guarding the goal line on Baltimore's 1st play from scrimmage on their own 25 yard line. Peppers could be lined up guarding the beer vendor in the upper deck of the dawg pound.
I AM ALWAYS RIGHT... except when I am wrong.
