Laughing while reading all the tears of the Liberal Democrats who had zero input into this Bill as they decided not to participate.
Laughing while reading all the tears of those who have zero representation in Washington as they all have focused on hating Trump.
Happy with the fact that in spite of their childishness, America is once again open for business! Unless you are in the top 1% your taxes are going up over the next 10 years. Also, I hope you or a family member don't get really sick because the insurance companies can drop you if you do.

Unless you’re in the 1% and can afford complex medical treatments. There’s a place in hell for GOP Congressman Mo Brooks and his ilk. He voted yes on this bill. Here’s a quick history... 5/2/17 Headline... “Alabama congressman (Mo Brooks): “People who lead good lives” don’t have preexisting conditions” https://www.salon.com/2017/05/02/alabama...ing-conditions/12/13/17 Headline... ”Alabama Rep. Mo Brooks announces he has 'high risk' prostate cancer” https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.cnn.com...ncer/index.htmlHe got back from his taxpayer paid surgical procedure 4 days prior to voting to crush the common man in medical debt for a similar diagnosis. Scum.

Correct me if I am wrong please as I am going off of memory, but you can't be denied coverage for pre existing conditions is you maintain continuous coverage correct?

The federal government has NO AUTHORITY to tell any business what they have to sell. If I want to close my business down or limit the services I provide that is my choice. Don’t kid yourself....the left knew damn good and well insurance companies would not survive the ACA rules and walk away ushering in the need for uncle sugar’s single payer plan.

I absolutely agree, that the ACA was in all intentions and purposes, designed to fail, so they can usher in single payer. No question about it. The problem is, they thought they had the next 10 elections locked up and would be able to do so.

Correct and Trump seems content with not touching Obamacare in quarter 1. So pre-existing conditions should be safe for another year or so. Once the market implodes though nothing is really safe.

I'm asking my boss for a raise today to cover the cost of my tax increases in 2019. I implore every working class employee to do the same. I haven't had one since starting this job nearly 4 years ago. I'll let you know how it went. Sounds like Obama failed you for not getting a raise in 4 years. Actually the strategy of kicking the hell out of Obama all the time, and treating him not just as a president from the opposing party but an extreme threat to the American way of life, has been a remarkable political success for the GOP. Congrats. Don't get all butt hurt when the Dems do the same to the current Dumass in the WH. Just pulled that strategy from the Dems 2000-2008 playbook......GOP didn’t invent that wheel

And that he conspired for 9/11 to happen, or that he was dumb and couldn't read etc etc. hmmmmmmm, sounds oddly similar to the way things are going now. . . . . kicking the hell out of Obama all the time, and treating him not just as a president from the opposing party but an extreme threat to the American way of life, And did this guy REALLY JUST SAY THIS like that's NOT what is going on right now

This will only work for 1 year. At the end of the year, insurance companies can and will drop you under the guise of "We no longer offer that plan". They have done this to me continuously for the last 4 years.

Popped in this thread to see discourse, yet just see slander instead. All I know is I'm fortunate to have health insurance because my wife broke three bones in her leg falling outside on Sunday. Babies are OK and the surgery was a success. If I did not have health insurance...

What a HORRIBLE example ... oBUMa care is the worst piece of legislation this country has ever passed .... BULLCRAP 1. Goodbye doughnut hole. Medicare drug plans (Part D of Medicare) stop providing insurance to people after their claims for covered drugs hit a certain level ($2,970 in 2013), and coverage doesn't resume until spending hits another level ($4,750 in 2013). Health care reform is closing this doughnut hole in annual stages, and it will be totally closed by 2020. Savings to Medicare beneficiaries will be in the tens of billions of dollars. 2. Free Medicare preventive services. Health care reform greatly expanded the menu of free preventive services to Medicare consumers. 3. Pre-existing conditions. Beginning in 2014, no one can be denied health insurance because of a pre-existing medical condition. 4. Premium equity. Insurers can't gouge people with pre-existing conditions by forcing them to pay unreasonably high premiums. The law also limits insurers' ability to impose age-related premium increases for private coverage. 5. End of pre-existing restrictions on children's access to health insurance. The law has ended insurance denials based on pre-existing conditions for the roughly 20 million children under age 19. 6. Insurance payout limits. The law will end lifetime limits on insurance payouts. It also has been phasing out annual coverage limits, and these will be completely outlawed for insurance plans taking effect next year. 7. Minimum medical loss ratio for insurers. Health insurers must spend at least 85 percent of their premium dollars on health care (80 percent for smaller group plans) or rebate shortfalls to consumers. 8. New consumer health coverage reports. Consumers have begun receiving a standardized report explaining their health insurance. This seemingly modest accomplishment is actually a big deal. For the first time, different health insurance plans have to present their coverage details in the same format, using the same language. Consumers can now accurately compare different health insurance plans. If you call those the worst piece of legislation our government ever passed then you make Scrooge, and The Grinch look like Mother Teresa.

My car insurance went down even though I have a thousand tickets.
Thanks Trump!

Thanks Tulsa! She fell on the ice, landed on her ankle so she didn't land on her stomach. Broke her tibia fibula and talus bones. Required a plate and 8 screws/pins to set. Totally crazy, and totally random and unfortunate. Unlike auto insurance or home insurance, health insurance isn't a protection against what might happen. We will all need health care during our lives. We are just fragile meat bags

We will all need health care during our lives. We are just fragile meat bags Back in the late 90's I was going down the stairs to get a shower as I just got home. Missed the top step. After rolling down 12 steps and hit the floors I knew I broke my my ankle. Ripped all tendons and ligaments 4 plates and 16 screws to put Humpty together again. The bad part it didn't heal right. So back in and another 4 plates and 16 screws to fix it again.
The only reason people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory.

Oh jeez. I hope she heals up OK, especially because she should be walking (not limping) just in time for the twins to be born!
I got the x-rays before and after from the hospital and ER... Gnarly mess that was. Her shinbone came through the skin and she almost went into shock over it (BP 60/40)

If cherry picking equal stating facts then your right 8 bullet points mean nothing to this dude. 16 bullet points would still mean nothing. 64 bullet points: same result. He knows what he knows. Don't mess stuff up with data, m'kay?
