I'm sure the Kizer apologists would disagree . Are there any left? The guy hasn't shown any improvement from one week to the next. He has, just not what you expect. Kizer is EXACTLY where i thought he would be. What your seeing is the reason why I wanted Kizer to sit this year. He is a 2-3 year project. Calling Kizer a Bad Qb and a bust is ridiclious. Wentz was 23 as a rookie Trubisky is 23 as a rookie Kizer is only 21 there is a two year difference, its HUGE. Kizer was drafted as a guy who needed to sit for ideally two years(until he was 23) to bring him along and polish him. From a talent perspective Kizer has everything, big arm, nice size, tall, but being 21 years old he is RAW Sadly Kizer is ruined, you can't toss in a 21 year old rookie to the wolves the way we did and expect good things to happen. the kid wasn't ready...i posted on another thread that both Kizer and our Qb coach David Lee said Kizer wasn't ready in the preseason and Hue decided to put him out there anyways. we should have kep Osweiler or McCown and Kizer should have been 3rd string on the depth chart behind Hogan, Kizer should not have played a snap this year, the kid wasn't ready...he needed to sit and learn behind a vet, he needed practice reps and time...we have ruined Kizer as a QB in the NFL only a complete moron like Hue puts a rookie 2 year project QB at 21 years old out there and then throws the ball 30+ times a game in all but two games, with one of those games being 47 pass attempts LOL...no chance...what a shame for Kizer...kid never had a chance.
