It is fair to say the Browns lost the 1st quarter, the 2nd quarter, the 3rd quarter, and now the 4th quarter.

So at least 8 straight quarters the Browns have not looked the better team.

Ogunjobi and Coley have at least been pleasant surprises.

13 seconds to play,

Browns to receive the punt!

Time for Kizer to throw 1 more interception?

Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

He doesn't learn from his mistakes !! He doesn't have it .

How can he learn? He is unsure of the system, he is unsure of NFL Coverages, he is unsure when he makes a smistake he is actually making a mistake.

this is why he needed to sit. Raw projects like Kizer, the issue is NEVER with their physical abilities, its with their young age(21 compared to other rookies being 23), and the mental aspect of learning NFL coverages and routes.

what you and other Browns fans expect out of a 21 year old rookie project, out of any rookie Qb for that matter, is simply unreasonable.

its no wonder we go though Qb like socks..

Tony Romo= it takes 3 YEARS for a rookie Qb to really know whats going on...3 YEARS...imagine how hard it is for such a rookie project like 21 year old Kizer that has no veteran Qb to lean on.

folks are being completely unreasonable with complete unrealistic expectations. Kizer shouldn't have taken a snap this year. had we waited until next year or the year after to play him I think things would be much different.

the upside is that our starting QB is healthy enough to finish the season, not like in years past when we would throw out our 3rd string QB to try to beat Pittsburgh

Then someone needs to shoulder either starting him if he wasn't ready, being unable to see how "unready" he was and starting him or allowing him to be our "best" option at a pivotal position (cutting McCown, etc).

I feel for the guy but I just cross my fingers and hope he doesn't throw a pick every time he drops back. I hope he develops and I actually admire his resolve and resilience - he could have folded. I just feel that next draft will have done for him here because there will be mutinies if we start next season with DK as the starter and don't draft a QB early. Regardless, I wish him well. This season has been more depressing than last - merry Christmas all, enjoy the holidays smile

Yet week after week, I don't read anybody calling for Cody Kessler to take over.

Everybody knows.

Yes,

I fully expect the Browns to draft another QB. Its my hope that Kizer can sit the bench enxt year either here(or somewhere else) and put him in the proper situation to learn so a year or two down the road, he should be a great back or an above average NFL starter, but that was never his ceiling this year.

its clear as can be the kid should have never played this year...we should have kept Osweiler who we are already paying for to play for Denver and let Kizer learn, and maybe fight for a job next year.

I would have rather started Kessler this year then to play Kizer, and frankly its what Jackson should have done. Kessler showed enough last year to warrant getting a chance in his second year, if it didn't work out, its not like we didn't give Kessler a shot. Starting Raw Kizer though was a mistake, the kid was/is 2 years from even being ready. that shows everyone how much of a moron Hue Jackson really is.

And that lands squarely on the shoulders of one Hue Jackson. Pass after pass, deep route after deep route, it all lands on Jackson. All of it.
