Are u worried about his build Bone? He’s very “slight” ...
He seems injury prone ... u don’t worry about that? I am more worried about his head. He has had at least 2 concussions in his college career. With each concussion you get, the next one becomes easier. I see frequent concussions in his future and that is what worries me more than anything. I've had four concussions in my life and I'm fine. Hey Dave - how many fingers am I holding up?
No, no, no I forgot - it has to be true or false.
Hey Dave, am I holding up some fingers?

Rosen's concussions should definitely be in conversation when it comes to drafting him.
Guy may have another one, and decide to just retire.

Guy may have another one, and decide to just retire. Well if he's smart - he'll declare, get drafted by the Browns at #1, sign that contract for guaranteed $ and THEN retire due to concussions. Gets his payday and never has to play a snap in Cleveland. Win-win really.

This is a potential problem. This is where Dorsey makes his money.
Rosen needs to be thoroughly vetted.
You have to find out where his head is really at.
If he does not want to play for the Browns? It is up to Haslam and Dorsey to figure this all out.

Rosen hesitant to enter draft if Browns Commit to Him I don't like guys like this. Can't trust him to put his heart into it.
WE DON'T NEED A QB BEFORE WE GET A LINE THAT CAN PROTECT HIM my two cents...

bone, what do the Browns do if Rosen's character doesn't check out and Darnold doesn't declare (I think this is gaining momentum)?
LOL - The Rish will be upset with this news as well. KS just doesn't prioritize winning...

Draft Rosen. Remember Mike Nolan passed on Aaron Rodgers because he thought Rodgers would be impossible to work with and took Alex Smith, because he thought he could work better with him.

I’ve watched 5 of his games so far ...... will watch the rest ....
His ability jumps right off the screen at U ... its clear how good he is ...
Accurate ... goes through his reads quickly ... good arm .... mobile enough ....
He’s real good ...
But man is he small ... concussions all ready ... hes real young to all ready have had 2 concussions ...
Its obviously a red flag .... question is how BIG a red flag ... his ability is undeniable ...
Man ... this ain’t a no-brainer ,,,,

That would be heartbreaking.
I sure hope both declare.
If both do not declare Allen becomes the guy they have to look at very closely.
Even then that presents a problem. I don't see Allen as the top pick in the draft.
However, if he passes the exam and is viewed as a franchise quarterback maybe you take him number one.
You don't want to get cute if you believe in the guy.
All of the prospects will get looked at but not all can be viewed the same. Some guys will need to be slotted according to perceived value.
Rosen and Darnold have until January 15th. If they do not declare then they look to free agency which starts March 14th. Cousins and everybody else available by free agency or trade becomes an option.

If Rosen and Darnold don't declare then what I would do is take a hard look at Allen or another QB, sign a Vet, keep DK and go from there. With that scenario and our schedule for next year we 're probably going to be drafting in one of the top 2 spots again in '19.

Rosen will declare. He's too smart not to. If true, he's just letting it be known he doesn't want to play in Cleveland. Mayfield is the choice anyway.

Man ... this ain’t a no-brainer ,,,, Agree with this a ton. Rosen is by far the best QB in this class and it isn't close - BUT - the concussions are a real issue, as is his (supposedly) very real desire NOT to play here (don't blame him). FO needs to do their homework on those two issues. Make him happy and make sure he checks out medically. If so - you hand in the card as soon as you can. If not - well....thank Jimmy Haslam for another year of hell football in Cleveland.

UCLA QB Josh Rosen on getting drafted by certain teams, if he comes out this year: “I’d rather be a lower pick at the right team than a higher at the wrong team.” https://twitter.com/joshweinfuss/status/945723557413351424Ugh. The one QB with a brain and he doesn't want to play for our team.

Man ... this ain’t a no-brainer ,,,, Rosen is listed as 6'4" 218 at the age of 20. His NFL playing weight will probably be closer to 230. I don't see that as small.

I bet Rosen pulls an Elway/Eli Manning if we draft him. Even if we pick him, its doubtful he ever plays a snap for us.

Nah, not really...we pick him and he forces the issue and we ned up trading him much like the Colts did with Elway and much like the Chargers did with Eli else we risk using a 1st overall pick and not getting a player out of it at all, nah... I won't be one bit suprised that we draft rosen and later trade him. Especially if its true that he doesn't want to play here.

Suppose you get Rosen and Hue comes back, what have ya got.
If Rosen goes somewhere else, he will have more of a chance to sit and learn, which I think he needs, because I don't think he is very good.
And He can't prove anything in the Cactus Bowl, Which he isn't even going to play in!

He's still smart enough to know he wants absolutely nothing to do with this dumpster fire of a franchise - proving in fact, he does INDEED have a brain.

I just had a thought:
If we keep Hue Jackson we definitely should hire Jedd Fisch as our offensive coordinator. He was UCLA's offensive coordinator for the 2017 season and supposedly has a great relationship with him. He also has worked in the NFL before (Texans, Ravens, Broncos, Broncos, Seahawks, and Jaguars). With Chip Kelly taking over at UCLA, Fisch doesn't really have a spot with the team (old friend Kevin O'Connell is probably going to be UCLA's offensive coordinator).
The only problem I see is that Jedd Fisch doesn't have any connection with Hue Jackson or John Dorsey.
