Suppose you get Rosen and Hue comes back, what have ya got.
If Rosen goes somewhere else, he will have more of a chance to sit and learn, which I think he needs, because I don't think he is very good. I'm hoping like Hell he'd have a new veteran QB to sit and learn behind in Cleveland as well. No problem. Kiser will be a veteran next season. For real. People act like young QBs have to have a veteran on the team to help them, but I think the QB coach and the offensive coordinator are far more important for the development of the player. I should also say that I think the right veteran could help, but it's not a necessity.

From Jake Delhomme, Jason Campbell, Trent Dilfer, Josh McCown, Seneca Wallace. None have seemed to help

After the way this kid has acted I would take Darnald over him if he comes out and if not you could trade down with 1 of the top 2 picks and go for Josh Allen ... JMHO

Word is Browns GM John Dorsey wants nothing to do with Rosen and hasn’t liked him As a prospect for quite sometime. https://dawgpounddaily.com/2017/12/26/cleveland-browns-dorsey-rosen-fan/I think Dorsey likes one of the other QB better then Rosen anyways and has for quite sometime.

I can't stand kids who think their to good for anyone, if he doesn't want to play for us so be it, let him go back to school and take a chance on a career ending injury, and giving up millions, that isn't to smart is it?

This is basically the only chance Rosen will have at controlling his career. I'd be doing the same thing if I were him.

This is basically the only chance Rosen will have at controlling his career. I'd be doing the same thing if I were him. Sure, but it sucks. We're a team that is in dire need of a QB. And Josh Rosen would be the perfect fit. He's exactly who I want. Now, if he's speaking the truth (and saying he doesn't want to come here), what's the point of having a draft. We were the worst team in football, we should be getting the best player. Sounds pathetic, but in my heart, as far as I'm concerned, we draft him number 1 no matter what. And if he holds out, we can start Kizer for another season and he can come play for us next year when we have the number 1 pick in the draft. And if he decides to stay in college another year, we can go winless again and we'll draft him next year. Either way, Josh Rosen is a Brown. lol What's another year of losing? It's not like we can have any less people at the stadium. I'm like a battered house wife, how much worse can it get? I've got all the time in the world Josh............ First San Fran gets Jimmy Garapollo for a 2nd (what the hell is that, see ya later Sashi Brown). Now, the number 1 QB in the draft, clear cut better than everyone else, possible savior to our problem, end of the jersey, doesn't want to play here. Well tough luck to Josh cause he'll be a Brown for five years, whether he likes it or not. I'm sure my mind will change tomorrow, but as of now, I'm throwing my hands in the air and saying "I don't give a (insert whatever word you want), you're coming to Cleveland. So bend over, smile, and take it"

Weren't you adamantly opposed to Garrapolo? So? Everyone has been wrong about a QB. Look how many were wrong about Watson and Newton.

We should probably consider the possibility that Hue is staying as coach and that the Browns are "all in" on AJ McCarron.

Have we really been WRONG about them though?
Sure Watson looked great for the 4 games (exaggeration) he played before getting injured. A lot of good he's doing Houston right about now sitting on the trainers table as they roll Tom Savage out and sit at what 5-10?
And Cam - well - he had one magical year before completely imploding in the Super Bowl. Beyond that he's been barely league average. Dude is still immature. He isn't a winner. Regardless of his "physical gifts". A lot of the same knocks he had on him when he came out still are true today.

If polled, 99% of draftees would say they did not want to play for the Browns. Especially, a QB. It's been career suicide since '99.
That said, you do not allow Rosen to dictate the future of your franchise. If he is deemed the best QB, you draft him.
Taking the approach of, "he's mentally weak and doesn't want to be here," "screw him if he doesn't want us," etc..., so do not draft him is allowing the tail to wag the dog. Do not allow the tail to wag the dog.

So I don't know how much we should trust your infatuation with Jackson. In all fairness, I don't know how much we should trust anyone's infatuation with anyone on here. I wanted Johnny Football when the draft went down. I was pumped about Brady Quinn (Diam was his biggest fan ya know). There were plenty of guys that liked Blake Bortles on here. There was a QB out of Louisville that plant of guys wanted, Brian Brohm. Or how about Matt Leinart. Plenty of Leinart fans on here. Plenty of Vince Young fans too. Point being, no one on this board was perfect. If I could remember who your guys have been, I bet we could find some duds in there man.

Like your post BUT in no way should we start Kizer for another season! I've seen enough. lol, I was saying, that was just a moment. That game I went to this year vs the Jaguars is as sad as I've ever seen the stadium. No one was there. I was able to park up close to the stadium in Muni Lot and I got there at like 9AM. A couple years ago you couldn't get a spot much after 0830 int he Muni-Lots. This kind of losing can't continue. And there'll be other options than Josh Rosen if he doesn't come out. And if he does, we could always draft him number 1 if we deem he's the best, and go from there. Worked out well for the Chargers and the Giants with Eli But for now, I'm just bitter. Bitter about Jimmy G (Can't hope but wish him the worst) and bitter about this stuff coming out about Rosen. I feel like a Cavs fan after Lebron left the first time. I'm just straight up bitter about everything. Ownership, the NFL, coaching, everything. Bitter and depressed

So I don't know how much we should trust your infatuation with Jackson. you don't have to trust me. this is football, not base jumping off the side of a mountain. i've used stats, injuries, and on the field results to judge my opinion of Lamar and Baker vs Rosen. you can like Rosen all you want, none of us knows until we start seeing these guys play on the field in the NFL. and as far as the other poster's comments about "99%", sorry but i don't want to go through the embarrassment of the Eli manning situation. we've been the butt of jokes enough to suffer through a situation in which our #1 overall refuses to play for the browns and demands to get traded. a lot of you go "so what", but teams don't do that. if Hue (or whoever the coach is) and Dorsey come to the conclusion that Rosen wants to avoid us like the plague, then it doesn't matter how much talent he has, that's a major major character issue that can not be overlooked, especially combined with all the other concerns he has.

So Rosen was warming up before the game in full pads, but still wasn't allowed to play. They said on the broadcast that the UCLA medical staff didn't allow Rosen to play since he had two concussions already this year.

Two concussions is not good . If he doesn't want to play in Cleveland, [censored] him. Let him go back to college one more year and take his chances. Or use him as a bargaining chip.

They said on the broadcast that the UCLA medical staff didn't allow Rosen to play since he had two concussions already this year. To me this is obviously a ploy to show that Rosen really wanted to play, but couldn't because the team doctors didn't let him. I don't think he was ever go to play in this game, but this is a way he can do it and no look "selfish."

UCLA QB Josh Rosen Makes Another Comment Indicating He’d Rather Not Be Drafted #1 Overall By The Browns TOPICS:BrownsJosh Rosen POSTED BY: MATT LOEDE DECEMBER 26, 2017 When the story came out Sunday that UCLA QB Josh Rosen seemed to prefer going to the New York Giants over the Browns, it was just another slap in the face for the franchise that is one game away from an 0-16 season. The story though seems to be 100 percent true, even more so after today a tweet from ESPN NFL Nation reporter Josh Weinfuss, who has a direct quote from Rosen on getting drafted at one or two. Josh Weinfuss ✔ @joshweinfuss UCLA QB Josh Rosen on getting drafted by certain teams, if he comes out this year: “I’d rather be a lower pick at the right team than a higher at the wrong team.” 10:30 AM - Dec 26, 2017 481 481 Replies 1,033 1,033 Retweets 3,983 3,983 likes Twitter Ads info and privacy Rosen has thrown for 26 touchdowns and 10 picks this season for the Bruins, throwing for close to 3800 yards. If the Browns want him, no one can stop them since they will have the first overall pick in the draft (again), but reading the comments from Rosen they might want to think twice if they want a player who already sounds like he might not want to be here. Former Browns wide out Andrew Hawkins put out an interesting tweet regarding the Rosen situation. Andrew Hawkins ✔ @Hawk I dont care Josh. Youre going to be a Brown. And u better come in and ball! https://twitter.com/joshweinfuss/status/945723557413351424 … 10:37 AM - Dec 26, 2017 http://www.neosportsinsiders.com/ucla-qb...overall-browns/

After his most recent comments, I hope the Browns have taken him off the board. We don't need that kind of negativity or someone who doesn't want to be here.
If he wants the Giants, they can pay to move up for him.

Lol. I actually enjoyed reading that. Thanks. Garrett preferred Dallas. He's a Brown and saying he's grateful. Rosen might prefer New England. Who cares what he prefers. 4 more months of this BS. Diam. He does look a little on the Skinny side to me too. More than that, I'm starting to not like this Concussion thing he's got going on. Darnold. PLEASE DECLARE. One of these 2 dudes MUST be a Brown.
