So draftbreakdown is charging people $2 a month to have access to their site and video library, but doesn't that violate the fair use policy on Youtube? They were already in the gray area of showing condensed games for an educational purpose, but charging money to watch games that they don't have the rights for is a step too far. I wonder if another company will take its place. Well, looks like I'll have to find a new way to track down tape. Or at least find a different path to the same cutups.

This has been my premise when discussing the up coming draft .. Much , much harder to pick a College QB than it was some years ago .. They are just not as prepared for the next step . Always a crap shoot ..

That is a thorough breakdown of QB measurables.
I like the way he organizes it.
I hear many media scouts/posters knock Lamar Jackson for his accuracy yet I've haven't read some of the same people say anything critical about Allen's accuracy.
I bet Wharton's accuracy numbers will be higher for Jackson then for Allen....and it won't stop people from praising Allen and knocking Jackson's accuracy.

This has been my premise when discussing the up coming draft .. Much , much harder to pick a College QB than it was some years ago .. They are just not as prepared for the next step . Always a crap shoot .. They are just as ready. Rookies now play right away and have more success. Teams are scared off by "spread" QBs because they are afraid to change their own team.

If NFL teams have an ability to teach, and develop the players they pick, then they should just get who is the best, and best able to develop, with the highest ceiling.
College is where these guys play.
Every team for the most part has 12 games a year and the players have 12 times to show they are the best.
There is not a triple A league for the NFL
The 5 star, and 4 star High school athletes with serious upside go to the best football schools and that's where you will find them.
They play against the best competition they can, and they each have a chance to show that they are the best of the best.
When someone shows that they are the best of the best, against the toughest completion they face, that tends to translate to the next level.
Bowl games,
When someone has great performances in bowl games this tends to showcase the best ability vs the toughest competition and can highlight those ready for the next level.
There are more bowl games than before, so it should be easier to see the best on display.
Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

good chance to see Darnold.
for some reason, streaming it on espn is no commentary, the entire field like all 22 or something.
which is cool, cause you can see the routes develop unlike a normal broadcast

His footwork is not good on any of his drops. Any pressure and he crumbles... His footwork rolling out is pretty solid. His accuracy is not that good today. He scrambles/runs very tall and that will likely lead to an injury. Maybe he will settle down but he looks like a 3rd rd pick. Giving up picks/fumbles etc.

So Rosen doesn't want to play for us, Darnold isn't ready (by these standards) and Lamar Jackson (who has some impressive throws) has a highlight reel dominated by QB keepers.
Think we need to go FA at the QB position.

I've been saying buyers beware on the QBs in the draft this year. They all have some serious flaws. We need to be careful and not so concerned about drafting a QB at #1. Depending how next week works out, we could have a 1 and the other as a top 4 pick.

Got lucky with that throw off his back foot and his WE made a great 1 handed catch.
After, he turns around and almost throws a pick into double coverage.
Kizer is way better than this kid.
He looks like a deer in headlights.
