Think I am done. Been close several times before but Jimmy and Hue has taken the Sundays i loved and turned into a really bad embarrassing joke. Realistically there is not a single logical reason I can come up with to have the Browns in my life anymore.

I am close to that point as well. If it weren't for my fellow fans on this board I'd have been gone awhile ago.

SO, ABOUT THE HAIR It's a bowl cut, yes, in the Roman centurion mold, but it's much, much more. The reddish-blond bangs, each strand the exact same length, the geometrically precise feathering over the ears -- not so much a haircut as a feat of engineering.

In perfect Davis family fashion, it's a middle finger to convention. Davis travels to Palm Desert to get it cut, just as he traveled to Chico from Oakland to visit a preferred barber long after he left college at Chico State. "I think he's had three barbers since college," Branch says. "If he likes something, he stays loyal."

He's aware of the public fascination with his hair. Damn straight he is. When news stories relating to the team are emailed to him, Davis, Badain says, has been known to respond by writing, "The comments on this one are all about my hair."

Has anyone ever suggested an alternative?

"Every day," Branch says. "Every day. That's the No. 1 topic."

And Davis' response?

"He ain't changing it," Branch says. "When people say something, he just laughs. The more they tell him, the more he's going to keep it. If they back off and don't say anything, he might change it.

to fire del Rio, they either knew Gruden was definitely on board, or they completely screwed the pooch on this.

I'm not 1000% certain, but that REALLY looks like a wig, or maybe just an overgrown toupee. There is a distinct line and color change about an inch and a half above his ear. It blends really well, but it does look like a wig... and the goofy bangs are DEFINITELY there to hide his gigantic bald forehead.

Yet Hue Jackson and his sparkling 1-31 record is still employed ... superconfused

One of the only arguments I understand for keeping Huebris is that the coaching pool will be shallow with all these other openings. But then you see the names that are being thrown around (Tom Cable, Pat Shurmur (who has been great this year, but is not an option for us), etc.) and you realize we can definitely upgrade at the head coaching position.

Keeping Hue allows the team to keep the same systems and culture in place that has produced 1-31. Consistency. Stability. It's important.

if the browns are coaching the senior bowl again, the seniors will decide to sit out the bowl game, and focus on the draft.

I think that they are hoping that Cincy wants to make a deal for Hue.

8 assistants? that's like the whole staff haha ... as long as Tabor stays though wink

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

Oh so those 8 didn't have young inexperienced guys to work with. Only Hue has that built in alibi. I get it!

Getting rid of Hue AND saving face for Jimmie it seems.

Wow, that's a lot of turnover IF the team is trying to maintain stability.

Add:

Offensive Coordinator-

Al Saunders/Sr. Offensive Assistant/Wide Receivers - I would want Al Saunder's back. He was dealt the worst hand at any position group imo. He knows offense and is Hue's friend.

David Lee-Quarterbacks Coach-He can go

Kirby Wilson-Running Backs/Run Game Coordinator-not his fault Hue don't run the ball

Bob Wylie-Offensive Line--Meh

Mark Hutson-Assistant Offensive Line-?

Greg Seamon -Tight Ends-Stays

Bob Saunders-Offensive Quality Control/Assistant Wide Receivers Coach-Stay

Brian Braswell-Coaching Assistant-No clue

---------------------------------------------------------

Gregg Williams-Defensive Coordinator

Clyde Simmons-Defensive Line

DeWayne Walker-Defensive Backs

Blake Williams-Linebackers

Ken Delgado-Assistant Defensive Line

Eric Sanders-Defensive Quality Control

Jerod Kruse-Assistant Defensive Backs

------------------------------------------------
Special Teams+other gone guys:

Chris Tabor-Special Teams Coordinator

Shawn Mennenga-Special Teams Assistant Coach

Stan Watson-Special Teams Quality Control

Jerod Kruse-Assistant Defensive Backs

DeWayne Walker-Defensive Backs

Bob Wylie-Offensive Line--Meh

Mark Hutson-Assistant Offensive Line-?

David Lee-Quarterbacks Coach-He can go

Actually it was said that DePodesta has a big role with Dorsey.

Keeping the Coaching staff is big time in continuity.

My money is that all 8 will be Hue's offensive guys.

Dorsey doesn't get to replace Hue, but he can make Hue want to leave by sticking him with guys he doesn't want to work with.

How in the world would Cinci sell a 1-31 coach to its fan base? Hue makes Marvin Lewis look like Paul Brown in his heyday.
