What's your prediction on our Day 1 starter. Kizer? Kessler? Alex Smith? Mayfield? Rosen? Darnold? Hogan? Glennon?

My prediction: AJ McCarron

His backups: Baker Mayfield and DeShone Kizer

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Alex Smith. But he'll be replaced by Mayfield at some point during the season.

100% sure nobody on our roster today.

Kessler and Hogan I think will not be on our Roster at all.

Vet...Smith, McCarron, Eli one of the Vikings QBs??? Should start.

Rookie Franchise QB prospect Rosen, Darnold, Mayfield...I like Mayfield the best.

and Kizer still will remain here. Curious how he will progress.

We need a veteran, strong leader at QB. Someone we are not looking to replace half way through when our rookie is ready. That is not the answer.

I just want a winner. We need players who can be part of the solution not part of the problem.

What will probably happen: AJ McCarron, DeShone Kizer, and Sam Darnold, in that order on the depth chart.

What I wish would happen: Kirk Cousins, Case Keenum, DeShone Kizer.

Since Hue is definitely staying I'd think AJ McCarron.
He was THE GUY that Hue wanted earlier.
Kizer b/u possibly Josh Allen (WY) but
I look for them to take Connor Williams w/ 1st pick and Saquon Barkley at #4...so...

I mentioned this as a possibility long ago now Peter King is as well. Dont be surprised if #JoshAllen is John Dorsey 's QB. He fits everything JD has mentioned.

Doesn't matter - we'll ruin whomever the pick is.

Alex Smith.

The first two picks will not be used on QBs.

One of the first two second round picks will.

If you get 2 of these 3 with the first two picks and sign Alex Smith, this could work out...Barkley, Chubb, Fitzpatrick.

The three QBs will be Smith, 2nd round pick, Kizer.

LOL - The Rish will be upset with this news as well. KS just doesn't prioritize winning...

Carson Palmer with Josh Allen as the heir apparent... Bring in the grizzled vet to mentor the rookie. You've got your bridge, your prototypical AFC North QB and Deshone Kizer learning from a tough rookie season and challenging for the starting job. We could make it worth Palmer's while on a 2 year deal and he would understand his role.

"Exploring the upside" of McCarron makes no sense whatsoever if we draft a QB in the 1st round. Cousins is a pipe dream... Smith is a possibility but you're trading assets for what you hope is a short bridge for a guy who won't sign without knowing it's "his team".

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

You think you have all of the answers. Yet you're a poster on a message board that sounds like a scratched record. Get back to me when you grow up.

PitDawg is salty. I'd never draft a guy who speaks out that he doesn't want to play for your team or is shying away from the challenge. To me that means weakness and his heart isn't really in it for the long haul. I'd work him out and go through the whole interview process to see what he has to say about his own comments. Depending on what comes out of the interview, then maybe. He does sound like an entitled brat though.

All you have are reports. No quotes. If Rosen comes out for the draft, it's obvious that he's willing to play for te Browns because he knows we have that first pick.

That's the funny thing about posters on this board. If a reporter says something they don't like, they call the reporter garbage. When a reporter says something they want to hear, it's suddenly gospel. Funny how that works.

And salty? No. Just tired of reading TONY say the same thing 500 times in a row.

Our 1st priority in FA should be a veteran QB, Smith, Cousins Bridgewater whoever, then we should sign the best FS in FA and a couple Top CB's ... thumbsup

If KC is bounced from the playoffs early I think they move on to Mahomes next season and Dorsey trades for Alex Smith.

If the FO decides not to draft a QB in the first round, which I find highly unlikely, I would like to see us take a run at Case Keenum. I could see him as a franchise QB.

But with that said, I highly doubt the Vikings letting loose of him. I mean they have Bridgewater but I just don't see them letting go of a QB that led them to 13 wins.

Keemum is too young to take a role of mentoring a young QB and has too many skills to go to a team where that would be his role.
