I might not understand much, but I can sure read the standings!

Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

You guys are ridiculous. You constantly gang-up on mac for being one-sided, yet you ignore other posters like device and many more [and yeah peenie, you are one of them] who constantly do the same thing against Hue and consistently excuse the FO.

There is still six games remaining this season. Let's see if the Browns can smash out a couple.

We're coming out of a really hard stretch in which we knew Minnesota, Detroit and Jacksonville would be tough. At the very least, I'd think we saw enough competitiveness in these games to suggest there is a possibility of success moving forward.

- At Bengals
- At Chargers
- Packers
- Ravens
- At Bears
- At Steelers

I'm excited for those games. I think Bengals, Packers, Ravens and Bears are all very possibly winning opportunities.

Andrew Hawkins blasted the Redskins on twitter over their treatment of Pryor. Thought I would include it as he made mention of the Browns.

Quote:
"Soooo, Redskins knew his ankle was messed up since week 2!?! THAT explains why they didn't accept Browns trade offers for him, because THEY KNEW HE WOULDNT PASS THE PHYSICAL. Dirty game....."

Hawk tweeted afterwards that he thinks Pryor never publicly mentioned the ankle because he's a pending unrestricted free agent, saying, "You do everything you can to not appear as damaged goods."

Browns front office took some heat for "failing" to trade for him. I wonder if Hawk is right.

Ironically, he had better odds of coming back if we kept Sashi. Hopefully the coaches will get into Dorsey's ear on him.

that's because he know we are the only team in the league going to overpay him. Hes a #4 on #2 salary mindset.

He played a lot better here than he did in Washington.

If his salary expectations have come back to Earth (you would think) I'd love to have him back.

He did, that's a fact. I cannot deny that. However do you really think his salary expectations have changed? He knows the browns the desperate, and will over pay.

We might overpay, but it won’t be anywhere near what he was hoping for.

I’ll be good giving him Kenny britts contract, which is what he probably would’ve got if he just stayed.

I'd give him that as well, but I'd be surprised if he got that much, at this point.

The dude is older w/o much experience at WR, and got benched last season... he's way more desperate than we are.

Ya but if we put him opposite Gordon and Coleman in the slot. That would work. But Coleman would have to run better route's.

I agree.

But if we do indeed go with a rookie qb next season, a WR group of Gordon, Pryor, Coleman, and Higgins, with njoku, Duke, and whoever is the main rb is a good core to have.

We need at least 3 WR's so we better sign or draft that many. Josh can't be relied on, Coleman is uinproven, and we have NOBODY beyond those two.

Agreed. At the very least, Pryor is a big upgrade over Ricardo Louis.

The only guys I care about keeping is Gordon, Coleman and Higgins - with only Gordon being a locked starter.

At the end of the day, I feel absolutely 0 ill-will towards him. He made a bet on himself, that without the benefit of hindsight, made sense at the time. I really can't blame him that much for that.

Also, that decision only hurt himself. He's going to end up missing out on some $$$ these next couple years because he turned down our multi-year contract.

See, I don't think it was all that stupid. He wanted to get the big bucks... he tried for that, and when he didn't get it from us, he went to a team that had a legit QB throwing the ball vs us.
I mean, how bad would he have been if Kizer had been throwing him the ball instead of Cousins?

Makes sense to me.

same for me Gordon, Coleman and Higgins... I consider Duke our best WR. Also I class mentally Njoku as a WR also as far as going outside or in the slot.

Pryor, a lot has to do with Hue it seems it was his project and I'm pretty sure he wanted Pryor over Britt and didn't get any final say on that one.

I read we tried to trade for him but the Skins said no and then benched him/put him on IR. Possibly the trade wasn't made cause no way he would pass the Medical criteria and they didn't want people to know about his injury???

Anyways he will not get much action in FA.

The one guy I want here...to go from nothing to VET LEADER of the WR corp....he still has game. Larry Fitzgerald! Give him his pay day!

jmho

He didn't progress with a decent QB. If anything he regressed. I was for keeping him, but after this season? We need WR's, not projects.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

A guy who has only played the position for two years and regressed in his second season at the position with a much better QB is who you would look to for leadership at the WR position?

Well, he'd play for a coach that went 1-15 and regressed to 0-16. Might be a good fit! wink

Yep. Hardwork and self accountability are traits that are taught by example. Personally I want Mike Wallace, but I think Britt was a poison and Pryor is something of an antidote.

He's got the right attitude, and I just have a gut feeling that he'll rebound if he came back here. I'll admit, I'm not sure why I believe that.
