The best thing, since it's inevitable, is to allow states to decide marijuana for themselves, remove federal marijuana laws and the feds to just sit back and take their cut of the taxes.
Not going to happen without a fight because legal weed cuts into Big Pharma profits.

Pot stocks tumble on fears Attorney General Sessions making a policy change-NBC News' Pete Williams reported the Attorney General made the decision to rescind an Obama administration 2013 memo on marijuana enforcement. -Stocks related to marijuana fell after the report. Shares of Scotts Miracle-Gro, which has been a Wall Street favorite because of potential for increased fertilizer and equipment sales related to legal marijuana crops, dropped 7 percent on Wednesday. ETFMG Alternative Harvest ETF, an exchange-traded fund which just recently changed its focus to marijuana-related investments, fell 9 percent. https://www.cnbc.com/2018/01/04/pot-stoc...icy-change.html

What in God’s name would I do with 2 pounds a month of weed?
I can barely get through an ounce. Make brownies for your friends... silly question. Imagine 40 and Diam on some edibles... lmao. Seriously, has anyone ever gotten a decent high off of edibles?

The night would start off nice and cordial, with dialed back cliches to not provoke others (just keep Vers and arch separated, please.) Then the Brownies come out, and some random right-winger starts spouting off conspiracy theories that would make Alex Jones blush. CHS starts ranting about how the workers must seize the means of production. Meanwhile, Swish and I are at the bar throwing back shots of Crown. Good times.

Crown? Perhaps we have more in common than I originally thought. Good choice.

I have. I don’t eat it anymore. Too hard to regulate my buzz. Some of the edibles out here will put you on your arse. I had a friend, a regular smoker, recently have to sleep on my couch one night because he ate a gummy. He nearly had a panic attack. I had to talk him down for a couple hours. Telling him to relax and breath. I felt bad for him. The stuff can be overwhelming. The buzz from edibles is certainly different than a smoke buzz. More a body buzz than a head buzz. It’s not my bag.

I'll be over by the munchies before GM get's to em. and this right here is why conservatives want it illegal. weed does make people commit domestic violence...on doritos, taco bell. PB&J's, and your wife's leftovers she told nobody to touch in the fridge.

Loud, boarish, generally a lot less charming and funny than they believe they are. The stuff is poison in my mind. But to each their own. I’ll stick with herb.

i use to drink a lot in the military. i don't know how i was able to be drunk, then get up at 5am to go run a company 4 mile. so many soldiers did that. formations would smell like straight up booze.
thankfully, my wife says i'm a happy drunk, and that nothing bad has ever went down. so thats good. but you see so many people get violent when they drink. man, i had this boy i deployed with from the sticks in virginia. dude would drink, and get the wrong kind of liquid courage. starts thinking he was king dick in whatever bar or club we was in.
and thats the problem with drinking. it can go from a decent night to having to play babysitter all night in a heartbeat.
So i just smoke weed, watch jason statham movies.

you could be part of the few where edibles does absolutely nothing for you.
either that, or whoever was hooking you up was a horrible cook. like it takes skill, and a lot of love to make good edibles. i was the food network HD a lot cause i like cooking, and for one recipe i used cannabutter instead of normal butter. but in order for it to kick, you have to make sure you have high THC amounts or it's not gonna do squat.

Loud, boarish, generally a lot less charming and funny than they believe they are. The stuff is poison in my mind. But to each their own. I’ll stick with herb. The poison comment is always interesting in light of two facts: 1. Alcohol could arguably be called the 4th macronutrient (in addition to carbs, fat, and protein) and gives about 7 calories per gram. 2. Studies routinely show that light drinkers have the lowest all-cause of mortality, followed by moderate drinkers, followed by abstainers. That is to say, people who drink in moderation live longer, with cardiovascular benefits from light drinking being emphasized. How does this match up with alcohol being poison? There are some counterpoints; the way many people drink is highly destructive. I'm sure we all know the fifth a day type drinkers whose bodies are being destroyed from the inside out. This is not what I'm talking about. But many people actually can drink alcohol healthily and responsibly and calling it poison just isn't really accurate for them. As well, some people just enjoy alcohol more. I do not like the feeling weed gives me, the way it smells, or what it does to people in the long-run. That is not to say that it is worse or better. It's just different and people have difference preferences. As you said: to each their own.

Sessions reverses Obama-era policy on marijuana, unleashes prosecutorsAttorney General Jeff Sessions on Thursday rolled back an Obama-era policy that allowed legal marijuana to thrive without federal intervention. The move effectively unleashes federal prosecutors to consider bringing marijuana cases, while stopping short of ordering them to do so. “U.S. attorneys need to make decisions in these cases as they do in other drugs cases,” a senior DOJ official told Fox News. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2018/01/...t-flourish.htmlGo gettem boys! Trump on using the DOJ to enforce federal marijuana laws to prosecute in states that have legalized it:

I think it's a great idea! Let's take that money away from the states and send it all back to the Mexican drug cartels. That will help everything. Let's put that money back in the hands of the every day criminal and take away all of those tax dollars from weed that now go towards education and infrastructure in those stats. Sessions is brilliant!
See, I understand the federal government is within their rights to do this. They would be within their rights to go even further if they wish. That doesn't mean it's any less stupid to do so.
BTW- Don't go talking that states rights BS the next time it suits your purposes. Just remember you sat there and approved of the federal government having the power over the rights of the states. You're not going to have your cake and eat it too.

Once again you make a silly argument. I am all for States Rights but no State has the Right to overrule Federal Law. You should consider putting all your posts in purple.

Of course you ignored where I said it was within their rights to do this. You think people can't see that?
Having the right to do something doesn't make doing it any less stupid.
But hey, now the drug cartels will be thriving even more and millions upon millions of tax dollars will be lost. And let's not forget about the jobs that will be lost. Maybe you should actually address those points instead of lying and saying I didn't post that the feds had the right to do this.
