Not whining or crying just stating Bowles did a better coaching job then Hue did, ergo he is a better coach. As for Haslam firing coaches, he’s fired coaches at the wrong time, I agree, but now he’s not firing coaches at the wrong time. That’s my opinion. I’m a fan of this team and I can feel that way if I want after a coach has been as bad as Hue has been. What exactly makes you right about Hue and the rest of us wrong? A good coach would have won 3-4 games with the exact same roster Hue had this year, it’s Hues own fault he didn’t do that.

It’s a little amazing that Haslam finally figured out that you can’t change coaches every two years, when we have a coach who has only won a game in two years. Talk about timing

Right about what?
If you guys can constantly complain about Hue, why can't I say that I am happy he is here? I don't think I am a bad fan because I want the team to stop firing coaches every two years.

Where did I say you were a bad fan? Maybe you need to give people a little more of a pass when they complain about a coach who has one a game in two years. You seem to defend the case for him staying every opurtunity you can, and I get this organization need continuity. I just personally haven’t seen enough improvement under Hue to warrant the notion that we are keeping him. I didn’t want him two years ago and he hasn’t shown me a reason I wasn’t wrong then. And I don’t understand the whole arguement that if we get a better roster he’ll win. So if we do improve the roster and get us a QB was it Hue that turned us around or was it that we got a QB?

This is becoming petty. I am glad that Hue was not fired. And I hope that he is here for years to come because that would mean the team will have improved.

Petty? You’re living up to your rep on here. I’m just discussing the guy, telling you what I think. You don’t have to see it my way. You don’t even have to read it, but it seems you do. If you really don’t like all the Hue bashing, which I’m sorry to say at 1-31 he totally deserves wether you see that or not, why don’t you just skip over the posts that do so?

And I don’t understand the whole arguement that if we get a better roster he’ll win. Same here. He hasn't shown the ability to coach up or whisper up any of our players, and I don't trust him anywhere near another crop of high draft picks to instill his 1-31 system.

It won't be enough for some posters. Hopefully, Jimmy will continue to ignore that portion of our fan base and do what is right for the team.

Holy Jebus. How sad has this team become when we have someone doing a happy nanner dance over retaining a 1-31 HC.

Not as sad as some posters being so butt-hurt over the firing of a guy who put us in this position w/some lame-brained plan.

I think, and this is just speculation but going by what Dorsey has said about winning, I think this team will have to play a lot better then I think it can, remember we will still be young next year too, and possibly will be starting a rookie QB again. But to avoid being fired I would say Hue has to a least notch 6-8 wins. Unfortunately under the scenario we are in I’m not sure we would be able to get to that. Not saying that next year would be all Hues fault, the games will tell us the answer to that once we play them, but he could be i the same situation he was this year. Young roster, rookie QB, etc...

If you guys can constantly complain about Hue, why can't I say that I am happy he is here? I don't think I am a bad fan because I want the team to stop firing coaches every two years. He's trying to point out that the Rams turned it around when they drafted Goff and finally landed their QB and that Hue can't win with Kizer. I actually agree with him. I'm not sure he understood that was the point he was making, but he did it anyway. lol

And some people hire a GM who can bring in the talent to build a roster you can win with. Paper cuts? You're really reaching now to bash a coach.

How many games will Hue have to win to turn our minds around about the guy? .500 and for me i consider 7-9, 8-8, and 9-7 pretty much the same as i like to give allowances for those couple of games every season that could go either way.

I understand that point, about turning it around with Goff, but was it Goff being that much better or McVay being better then Fisher? Or more likely a combination of both. We kept our coach and he may very well do better with another QB, but will the wins be a result of Hue being good or us having a good QB? It’s hard to say which will be the truth in that. Like I said we’ll have to see how the games go and make a determination from that. To take it to the extreme would be to say “ Hue could win if we had Aaron Rogers.” Or the opposite extreme would possibly be Belechick winning with Hoyer or Cassel.

If we win some games with a better qb, Hue will have to get some of the credit, just as I give him credit for the 1-31 record he's posted so far. I don't think that's going to happen, though. He's shown nothing here to indicate he can turn things around.

I understand that point, about turning it around with Goff, but was it Goff being that much better or McVay being better then Fisher? Or more likely a combination of both. I believe that is purely speculative depending on how you see the situation. I believe that it could actually be any of the scenarios you pointed out. But here's what I will say. The QB is your captain on the field. If the players believe that your QB can lead them to victory, it will help elevate the play of every member of your team. It not only impacts your O, but also your D. There is no other position in the NFL that can have a bigger impact on your team than the QB. As I said above, it's all speculation. I will say that if your players execute your plays, suddenly you're a brilliant coach. If they fail to execute, people say the coach sucks. So there's that.
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

He shouldn't have.
My theory is anything less than a Super Bowl win is a failed season.

That isn't to say you can't have a good season, be it a failed season.

Yea, if you’re goal isn’t to win the division every year, then we are on different wave lengths.
That should be the goal. Anything less than the playoffs and it’s a failed season.
