I am just going to say the Parade was not my cup of tea, and I would not have gone if I lived a mile away and it was 80 degrees and sunny that day. That's where I'm at also. I don't care if someone goes or not though. Doesn't make them a less or more passionate fan than anyone else. Doesn't make them idiots or anything of the sort. I don't really care what a player, organization or a fan thinks either. Deal with it. This organization has stunk the lakefront up too long. This parade isn't going to increase how inept and laughable this thing has been. As far as the organizer goes he has to live with himself IF he abuses the funds. Not I. Go Dorsey, go Browns!

I'd rather give my money to the parade's organizer (and even moreso to the food bank) than to Jimmy "jack the rebate" Haslam, or some of the players for that matter. I swear some of our players were more committed social justice warriors this season than they were football players.
Isaiah Crowell can post explicit pictures of a man slicing a police officer's throat and then kneel during a game that was nearly boycotted by the Cleveland Police Department. But Crowell is still #34. That is, 1-34, his record as the starting running back for his last 35 games.
I know there is a lot of frustration over all of these things. If people wanted to attend the parade, more power to them. I did not go. If it was a mile away and 80 and sunny outside, I may have gone.

If you go to this, you're a loser. If you think this is a good idea, you're a loser. If you think this is funny, you're a loser.
Being a loser is telling anyone who thinks differently than you do that they're a loser, loser.
Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

They did it again on the halftime show on nbc i believe, mike florio was talking about the draft, specifically the quarterbacks and when one of the announcers asked him what he thought the browns might do, he hesitated, smirked, and said, It's the Browns, whatever they do will be wrong." Sorry, but that's piling on and unprofessional to say that in front of a national TV audience and I'm sick of it. Respect is earned not given.

Then I realized it made me mad because it is exactly what we have done the last few drafts. Doesn't mean Florio isn't a knob, but its hard to argue with his conclusion based on past performance. I'm counting on Dorsey to get it right, finally.

just clickin'
We have won 38 games in the last 10 seasons. It's actually kind of hard to fathom. We just finished an 0-16 season, partially the result of giving a lawyer with no personnel experience control of the roster. We deserve all the mockery we get. Might as well laugh it off.
Life is too short to get mad because somebody made fun of your sports team, which is full of players you've never met and aren't even from the city they play in. It's not a reflection on you, as a person. Even the good players on the team, the ones who put forth an honest effort, can be at peace knowing that. The bank account padded with millions of dollars probably doesn't hurt either.
Aren't these professional football players? Why are we so worried that their feelings are hurt because some fans attended an 0-16 parade?

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Anyone catch LeBron's thoughts on the parade when asked by Jason Lloyd after last night's game in Orlando?
“[Censored] yeah, I’d be pissed,” James said when asked how he’d feel if he were a player on the team. “But how are you going to be pissed at the fans? It’s not like they don’t show up. I mean, damn. It’s 1-31. If our fans decided they want to have a [censored] parade and we were 1-31 the last two years? You can’t be mad at that. It’s [censored] up. I understand that as a player, but you’ve got to try to fix that [censored]. It could be worse. How ’bout they just boycott a season until y’all win two games in a row?”

I think that shows just a little bit about his mentality. Where's he been playing the last while? Oh, no where.

Being a loser is telling anyone who thinks differently than you do that they're a loser, loser. Fair enough, it's your opinion of me and you have as much of a right to it as I have to say I think the people that went to it or support it are losers. Is what it is.

I couldn't care less about the parade. I thought the idea was mildly amusing, but actually doing it seems a waste of time and energy, but nothing worse than that. But what if a potential FA pickup declines because of how the players perceive it?

I went to the parade. Ran into a lot of passionate Browns fans who sick and tired of the Browns playing meaningless football games in October It was refreshing to see real fans instead jerks like the Big Dawg and jerkettes like Debra Darnell.

Morons.
Sorry. That's exactly what they are. This was all about personal attention.
The organizer kept fighting with folks on twitter saying this was a protest, and not a parade (even though he was calling it a parade). It's about his own recognition and twitter follower account. Nothing like self -promotion.
The funny thing is, if the Browns start playing well, they'll all take credit as if this dumb spectacle was the reason why. Just stop.
The funny thing is, it's a "protest" about the team not winning, yet several polls showed a lot of these same people were voting that they hoped the team went winless so they could have this stupid parade.
Hypocrites.
I'm not saying Jimmy Haslam and co. don't deserve to be ridiculed, but this thing was not put together with those intentions. This was all about people getting their own attention, and it's pretty embarrassing.

I didn't go because I simply didn't want to.
Hearing we, as fans, tried donating expired and half eaten food is disturbing to me though. Pathetic.

Folks saying that this event will affect FA acquirement can't see the wood for the trees.
A dysfunctional franchise that can't win games since forever with a crooked owner, constant regime changes, constant coaching changes is "the "wood". This parade is not the droids you are looking for.
LeCharles Bentley addressed our players on Twitter. Head>Nail>Hit. A great take by him.

Seemed self-serving for the "organizer" IMO. In the past, a small number have advocated, protests, non-attendance, demonstrations, boycotts, and such. Readers may remember these. The perceived fan slights and payback are fun to type and carry on about publicly because and get vet two things: Volume and an audience. No attraction in having your own small & quiet protest-is parade away from all media, fans only. The absolute priority was a media splash giving us another black eye for self-gratification. Is the team or FO better today for the self-serving parade? I checked; I am not a revitalized and much improved fan because of the spectacle. It is not without purpose. I file this one under catharsis, I guess. And I still feel some hope stirring like Spring is coming. The idea that if you punish something harshly enough for long enough it turns into something amazingly better is simply not true. We had us a parade. Now, fan up. We are closer by a day to better situation for the Browns.

They weren't worried about mine when they kneeled.
