You said it, not me.
Again, trump decided to ramp up the trash talk. Nobody said trump allowed NK to have nukes. But trump decided to go away from how other world leaders do it. He decided to take a different approach than how the other presidents before him did. Tell me again, how did "other" world leaders stop NK? China? Russia? Any other country? Oh, that's right.
But this is a recurring problem with you. You keep making up lies and spreading false narratives. Nobody said a damn thing about trump allowing NK to get nukes, yet here is Arch making up BS like he’s Alex Jones. Nah. The recurring theme is you, blaming Trump. Just a fact.
Tell me Arch, what President not named trump sent a fleet to the Korean peninsula that ended up being fake news?
I believe most presidents have sent a fleet to the peninsula for routine military exercises. Am I wrong?
What President not named trump did a speech and a tweet calling Kim rocket man?
I don't believe any others have/did. Hey, name me the presidents that have served while kim was launching rockets monthly. I'll wait.
What President not named trump decided to tweet with Kim over who had bigger nukes?
None. Trump said, however, we have more, and better. I'll give you this one.
What President not named trump decided to not be in sync and have mixed messages coming from the state Department and administration?
Not following you here.
So you can whine and complain like an 8 year old all you want, at the end of the day, trump is currently president, and he’s the one who decided to ramp up the trash talk at Kim. Fact.
Yup, that is a fact. Aside from me acting like an 8 year old. Hey, bud, where's the blame lie for nk getting nukes, and ICBM's? And testing them? Answer that question. And don't pull your usual "I already answered that earlier" crap. Answer it. NK has the hell the stuff they have, DESPITE them not being allowed to have it, according to the U.N. So, where the hell are these so called "other world leaders" that did better? I'll wait.

Neat.
But ask swish - it's all Trump's fault. Where we are now is a culmination of several administrations. At least I gave you a reasonable reply and questions. I was hoping you would do the same. Oh well.

The blame is on past world leaders.
But that isn’t an excuse to ramp up trash talk. Going “what about” doesn’t change the fact that Trump lied about sending a fleet, then proceeded to talk so much trash, whether it be twitter or Live speeches.
What world leaders did in the past is no excuse for trumps behavior on the CURRENT situation.

Kim was talking tough. Gonna turn America to ash. Gonna take out Guam. Gonna enslave the Japanese.
Then came a Man. Who looked Kim in the eye. Told him I gots bigger and better, push it and you will Die.
Kim is now talking peace because he knew that Man was serious.

I get that the past administrations have failed miserably. I completely agree with you there.
Trump has definitely ratcheted up saber rattling in a way that I don't think is befitting of a U.S. President. I'm talking about "Rocket Man," and the nuclear button, etc. He's likening himself to Duterte in that degree.
Where I actually think he may have messed up is his response to North Korea asserting that they would achieve nuclear capability of hitting the U.S. and Trump tweeting a response along the lines of "Won't Happen."
Now, he's the current president. He set the bar for himself. I want to see how he follows through with that assertion, just as I would with any president who would do such a thing.

I think it is all posturing. Making nice with Kim. Pats on the back stuff. President Trump told The Wall Street Journal in an interview published Thursday that "I probably have a very good relationship" with North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un, potentially opening the door to diplomacy with the rogue nation.
Negotiations are beginning and neither Putin, Trump or XI want a Nuke War in Asia.
The last thing we need now is for everyone yelling, Kim chickened out, Trump scared him into negotiating!"
Kim would save face and walk away.

Trump accuses Russia of helping North Korea evade sanctions-President Donald Trump told Reuters on Wednesday that Russia is helping North Korea get supplies in violation of international sanctions. -Trump said Pyongyang is getting "closer every day" to being able to deliver a long-range missile to the United States. -The president would not say whether the United States has been considering a limited, pre-emptive attack. https://www.cnbc.com/2018/01/17/trump-ac...ns-reuters.html

So he'll keep whining about China and Russia helping N. Korea break the sanctions. Both are allies with N. Korea and won't stop doing it. Trump will do nothing about it. And the crowd goes wild!

And that raises this point: Why even have sanctions? Actually there aren't many good reasons for them. We can certainly see that it isn't doing much good here. Nations are going to trade with their allies regardless. You're not going to get China and Russia to stop trading amongst themselves and their allies no matter what. The only thing I see that it really accomplishes is to get people to "feel like" your standing up to these countries. To make people "feel like" you're being tough on them. Both parties use it that way and it seems to convince a lot of people.

It all comes down to a simple equation.
NK will not be allowed to have Nukes that can reach American cities.
So you try everything before you risk killing millions of people by taking him and his Nukes out.

According to the experts, they have nukes that can reach American cities now. North Korea's nukes can now reach the entire US according to experts — here are its most likely targets http://www.businessinsider.com/north-korea-likely-nuclear-targets-us-icbm-2017-7

And as I've stated before - the U.N. banned nk from having nukes. The u.n. banned nk from having icbm's. The u.n. banned nk from testing icbm's. They have nukes, they have icbm's, they've tested them. So, what the hell is the point in the u.n.?

That article fails to name the so called experts but the President and his Secretary of Defense Mattis say NK is very close to being able to mount Nukes on ICBM's capable of reaching American Cities.

The US told NK to get rid of their nukes, and they said no.
So what’s the point of the US?

Yes really.
You’re once again being incredibly simple with the role the UN has played over the years.
At the end of the day, North Korea is a sovereign country and they can do as they please, regardless of what ANY body tries to do.
The US has implemented sanctions on other countries before and yet they still kept doing whatever it is they are doing.
While other countries have tried to comply with request in order to have sanctions lifted, with some other countries, the only way to stop them from doing what you don’t want them to do is A: come up with a deal, or B: go to war.
NK is already nuclear, and as long as Russia and China have their backs, either or specifically, then hey have zero reason to listen to the US...like, ever.
Russia is helping them, and China already got caught red handed pulling the same thing.
Anybody who thinks NK is gonna give up theirs nukes just because the US said to is fooling themselves.
Now, here’s ways to keep them from testing and/or at least not launching test misses over our allies. That would be a smart deal a good politician would try to pursue.
But trump wants this all or nothing approach, and already once or twice, NK has called his bluff.
Are you willing to die to get rid of NKs nuclear capability?

I already addressed your question above.
As far as the U. N. goes, the U.S. has basically used them to do our bidding for a very long time. Any time they refuse to do so, we simply threaten to cut off their funding. They're nothing more than a tool for the U.S. and our allies.

I would suggest you look at all of the resolutions the U.N. has passed that favor the U.S. and its allies.
But in the end I think we pretty much agree. All the U.N. actually accomplishes is giving the appearance that the world stands up against the things they disagree with. That the world is standing tough. The actual results prove that they're far more bark than they are bite.

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2015/sep/21/united-nations-70-years-achievements-visual-guideI guess I’m one of the few, if not the only person on this board who has seen first hand the good the UN has done.

Yep, bunch of sissies... they should have just put up their draft dodging Trump shields and whataboutisms... Yeah, that would make them tough guys. We both know we'd be looking for clean underwear after living through that moment ourselves. You'd have to be nuts to not be scared.
