So since Joe Thomas got hurt, the Browns media team has begun working him to death. He was recently granted a podcast that he hosts, because a winless team deserves to have a podcast, and has interviewed Njoku and Bitonio so far. I was listening to the Njoku episode when I read this post. The format is a little choppy, as should be expected when someone who is not an interviewer is interviewing people, but it's still a pretty fun listen.
I'm sure the Bitonio episode will be better just because he and Joe know each so well.

I was listening to the Njoku episode when I read this post. The format is a little choppy, as should be expected when someone who is not an interviewer is interviewing people, but it's still a pretty fun listen.
I'm sure the Bitonio episode will be better just because he and Joe know each so well. The Bitonio one was so good that I forgot how bad the Njoku interview was. It helped that Joel was a really helpful guest.

At the same time, in the podcast with Myles Garrett, Joe Thomas said, "Maybe next year in the weight room we can control the music played," or something to that effect. I feel like he is coming back, but I suppose time will tell.

It's called The ThomaHawk Show by UNINTERRUPTED. First episode released last week. Great podcast.
Now I am starting to think JT is hanging it up. They discuss topics it seems like an active player may not openly discuss. I hope not.
He said this week that he's going to be talking about the JG trade in the upcoming podcast... I hope this outspoken Joe doesn't mean he's gone from the team, just that he has immunity of some sort. Joe has a lot of freedom and I hope the Browns are cool with it.

I listened to this today. Both Andrew Hawkins and Joe Thomas give a ton of insight into several situations and they don't pull any punches. It's weird to hear players who were just in the league (in the league?) talk this candidly about former coaches and current players.

Joe and Hawk talked a little bit about Shurmur and Pettine this episode. They said they liked Pettine as a coach, but listened to too many FO guys when playing Johnny. I always thought Shurmur was well liked in addition (I could be wrong) Shurmur always came off as a really nice human being...reminds me of that neighbor whom is always sweet and nice to you...But over his head in yard work all the time lol

The team KNEW he was a bust, but ownership/management forced him onto the team. Thinking back to the 2015 season, we wanted to start McCown over Manziel as well, but McCown got knocked out in the first drive of the year, and Manziel was forced back into action. The team went 3-13 after that. Ray Farmer did so much damage to this team.
