Ok 1st off I know we really don’t need another LB, and I’m not suggesting we take him. I’m just curious what people think off him.

I’ve watched some of his game tapes and film breakdowns on YouTube. WOW. I don’t know where this guy is slotted to go in the draft, but for me, off all the defensive guys I’ve watched(and it’s still early for me), this guy has become my favorite. The guy does so much, so well. Looks very fast, especially for a guy his size(listed at 6-4, 250lbs). He plays a few different positions, I see him being a “mike” LB in the NFL. He’s got speed to go sideline to sideline, he tends to be a quarter second behind diagnosing plays at times and will guess wrong at times but he goes when he makes a decision. Incrediably athletic. Can fill on runs, strong enough to not pushed around, quick enough to beat blockers to the spot, can cover, even man up on TEs and slot WRs.. Do it all LB.

Like I said, I don’t see us taking him, and am just looking for opinions on him, but he would be an upgrade on Shobert, possibly even Collins, and coming from me that’s something cause I really like both of those guys.

If he's there atop the 2nd round, I'd take him. He can rush the passer and like you say, he's a sideline to sideline guy. He's a football player for sure.

I don’t think he’ll last even close to the second round, but you never know.

He’s not great at rushing the passer cause he really wasn’t asked to do it a lot, he wasn’t a rush type LB at V-Tech, played as an off ball LB. Did show the ability to do it in some of the other things he does, if you know where to look. O e of the breakdown vids I watched mentioned that. The guy he most reminds me of is Karlos Dansby with maybe more of a ferocity to his game.

I watched two of their games and he did really stand out as a superior football player.
