I don't watch a lot of College mainly because I don't have cable. I mainly begin paying attention once the losing begins and I start to read who we may be targeting in the draft and I watch highlight reels and their bowl games. Since reading this I have been watching some vids on this dude and I am amazed more have not mentioned him. From what I see I would be very happy with this guy. What is his weakness?

Looks like he doesn't have elite speed and athleticism. Unclear if he can cover slot corners. He's another tweener. I still like him a lot though.

One guy that I like as a late round guy is Rashaan Gaulden from Tennessee. He plays nickelback in their defense, but plays a lot like a FS/SS. He's great off the blitz and one of the best run stuffers I've ever seen at the position. I think he could play either safety position at the next level.

I’ve been meaning to take a look at him just haven’t got around to it yet, nfl draft scout has him as a corner though.

He's listed as a corner in a lot of places. He does play nickelback at Tennessee, but he's pretty much in on every play. I've only watched one play and a few highlight reels, but I did watch the Bama game in full. The dude has the heart and instincts of a linebacker. He blitzes like a natural edge rusher and stops runs like a MLB. I obviously have to watch more of his games, but I love how he plays the nickelback position. The SEC is still a run heavy conference, but they do play in a lot of 3 WR sets so you need an extra safety or corner who can play against the run. That's what he can do. He's a pure transitional prospect, although I wouldn't be surprised if he did practice with safeties at UT.

This take did not age well. He looked like a slow Quinn Blanding out there today.

Saw Justin Reid say this today. I would love him if we did pass on Minkah. I could also see him dropping due to his brother's active participation in the protests.

I thought Minkah would've had a higher jump but I still think he'd be a critical piece needed to greatly enhance the defense as a whole. As Mayock said, he's one of few people who can successfully play all positions in the secondary. Combined with the so-called and highly mentioned/popular leadership ability, I mean for what we need and how Greg wants to play defense, it's just a match for a match. The perfect tie to go with the perfect suite.

I quite frankly haven't done too much research on the other prospects. The drop seems pretty decent when Minkah goes off the board. Kameron Kelly in my small bit of research would likely be who'd I go for if we foolishly pass on Minkah.

I think Fitz is the best player in the draft.
