40: I fully support a known racist!

Others: That's kind of racist

40: Why do people keep calling me racist? It must be because I drink milk

What if I drank chocolate milk?

Racist!

Milk apparently became a symbol of the alt-right and neo-Nazis this year because racial minorities may be more likely to suffer from lactose intolerance. Even worse, the USDA’s dietary guidelines furthers such oppression by advertising dairy as an essential part of a healthy diet.

That's not quite why milk became a white supremacist meme.

40 is correct that the lactose intolerance bit came from the white supremacist site Stormfront (the site Trump posted he graphic from, that sends all Trump supporters into cowering silence when you ask if it's racist), but it truly took off when a white supremacist who was banned from Uber for racist remarks towards drivers got peppersprayed in the face by an Antifa member and kept screaming "Milk! My eyes! I need milk!"

That's when white supremacists began to use a milk bottle emoji as a sign.
