He has the size to challenge and punish and beat on people, even if only in rotation. I thought he was good, not wunnerful when I saw him play, but he worked at it more than some of the recent goners. I could see him here again.

Nance seems like the Icer. He haas instincts, that intangible, like his old man, to be in the spots that matter with it on the line. He groks game. I am awfully glad to see this guy playing hard for us. Classy!

RIP dunk contest, some of the lamest junk I’ve ever seen. These dunks getting 50s after missing twice gmafb. And these celebrity judges...ugh

Nance's double-tap dunk was pretty awesome, but yeah, that was a pretty lame dunk contest. Continues the long, yearly tradition, where the dunker with the best dunk doesn't win the contest.

I see on ESPN, they are trying to come up with ideas to make the All-Star Game more competitive. How about, "Losers have to visit the White House"? grin

Yeah that was the worst version I’ve ever heard of the star spangled banner. Wasn’t Roseanne available?

IMO, the game was much more enjoyable to watch. they were actually trying

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

j/c:

All-Star game thoughts:

--The pregame thing w/Kevin Hart and the music sucked.

--The version of Oh Canada was awful.

--Our National Anthem was atrocious. Reminded me of when Macy Gray's.

--The game was excellent. Very entertaining. The teams tried to win and actually played some D. Very dramatic ending w/LeBron and KD putting the D on Steph and DeRozen. You could tell the players realy wanted to win that game. Maybe it is a preview of how LeBron's team edges Steph's team in the Finals!

Yes, the pregame was weird. I turned the volume off, did something else and waited for the game to start.

Good game!

Yea and I usually like Kevin Hart but that was just odd...

Game was awesome..

And was it just me or was the crowd not all that into it? During intros and stuff you couldn't hear any audience cheering at all... It got better during the game...

Or, maybe no Americans were permitted to buy tickets and the crowd was made up of civilized folks from other countries.

End of the game too. When Lebron was getting his MVP trophy, I figured they'd be chanting something about joining the Lakers. Instead it sounded like a library. I figured everybody had already left to beat traffic.

I heard the Canadians chanting CAN-A-DA! CAN-A-DA! last night. What has happened to that overly polite people group?

Back to ball again tomorrow, and what a big game it'll be. As a kid, I use to get so pumped for all star break. Especially the three point contest, but I don't even rarely watch the highlights of the events anymore.

Yeah, I am very excited to watch the Cavs tomorrow. It's been a drag having to wait. I'm assuming they are TNT, right?
