I'm taking Barkley at #1, Fitzpatrick at #4. I can't accept a 50% success rate picking a 1st round qb, I'm drafting the best players. I have to nail both of these picks. I may be jaded, I just want players And then you still stink because you don't have a QB.

Perhaps a parallel to life, let the game come to you, build the foundation first.
I'm also doubling down on my resolve for AJ, I think it means something when they want to play in Cleveland, we embrace those people. By my count for those genuine people, it's Bernie, Brady, and Brian. 2/3 have a winning record
I haven't given up on Deshaun

Hey Bucky nice to read you.
If you wish to site percentages (50%) Well our odds are so much in our favor so if you wish to rely on odds and mathematics you should be promoting QB for this draft.
Jmhodds in our QB favor.
Defense wins championships. Watson play your butt off! Go Browns! CHRIST HAS RISEN! GM Strong! & Stay safe everyone!

It has to do with what is determined as a successful QB, over the past 10 years, in the first round of the NFL draft, amongst every team.

A lot of what we do in the draft will depend on how FA shakes out. We have the cash to make BIG improvements in the roster before the draft. This is part of why I do not like talking in absolutes when discussing the draft, when Free Agency comes first and is just weeks away.
There is no one in FA that matches Barkley.. Le'Veon Bell will be tagged and Frank Gore is past his prime. There are several FA CBs available .. also safeties, some will be retained by their teams. Given the problems with our defensive secondary, even if we sign the top CB and safety in FA, Fitzpatrick is still a very good choice. We do KNOW that Cousins will be available. Cousins, with the best players available at #1 and #4, is the way to maximize this offseason. This is why I advocate for him.
The Browns have the money and the draft picks. It is what the pain of the past 2 years has been all about. Sign the best Free Agents available, then go into the draft loaded and able to make the team a winner. Don't screw it up by just looking for the draft to save us, not to mention adding more years of misery along the way.
1. Sign Cousins and other top FAs in Defensive backfield. 2. Draft Barkley #1 3. Draft Fitzpatrick or Chubb #4 .. whichever is available 4. Go Best Player Available from there. 5. Don't give up on Kizer. Let him sit and learn. He did improve as the year progressed.

I just heard yesterday that Cousins is almost assuredly going to the Vikings .. would it be worth it to give Keenum a shot?
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."
