I hope some team gives this guy a chance in the NFL.

He'll get drafted for special teams alone and has the athleticism to be an amazing dime LB at the least.

I have no doubt the kid makes the roster whoever drafts him.

Watching the DBs today and wondering where these guys learned to backpedal. Some were kinda smooth, but none, so far are overly impressive to me. No real quickness in them. Are there that many coaches in college who are teaching bail coverage instead of a true back pedal? It won’t really effect anyone’s draft stock but man, get out there and show em how it’s done Deion.

Didn't think Denzel Ward was that fast. Also did anyone see Courtland Sutton's numbers? He's been my favorite WR in this class since last year. I'm glad he showed that he has the all world athleticism to show he can excel at the next level.

DJ Chark impressed me at the Senior Bowl and continued to impress at the combine. St. Brown also showed up. I like Sutton, but wonder if he'll be there at the top of the 2nd.

I know you didn't ask me, but I know he's working with a QB guru (can't remember the name, but he's worked with a ton of top QBs in the last 5-10 years). No offense to the coaches at Wyoming, they may be spectacular, I have no idea - but I suspect this QB coach he's working with has made some modifications. He looked good at the combine for sure. The question still to be seen is if he has\can improve his accuracy.

Dean, have you seen the 40 times for Fitz and James yet?

I don't think so. I think he'll be the first WR taken in the draft this year. I just don't know how someone can justify taking Calvin Ridley over Sutton. That's no disrespect to Ridley, he's a great football player, but Sutton set himself apart yesterday. Chark and ESB did very well, I wouldn't mind picking them up at the top of the 2nd. The guy that I would like to get is DJ Moore. He did an outstanding job at the combine and he has the DCDawg stamp of approval. I'm going to have to look a lot more into the WRs this next month, but I think DJ Moore and Chark will be the steals of the draft.

I have never doubted Wards speed or cover skills .. How tall did he measure ? I figure him as first rounder .

He's 5'10 and 7/8th. I think he's locked himself into a top 15 pick. A lot of people thought he might be 5'9.

Fitz ran a 4.47

Not sure what has been funnier. Hearing Deion gush about Minkah or him freaking out about the white guy who ran a 4.35. The safeties are quick this year, I'm surprised.

I know it's not an accurate measure, but when doing my mocks, Chark is going at the top of the 2nd, and ESB has been there at the end of the 2nd. I would like to get both.

He just said, "Zimm, I found you another one baby." about Aptke running under 4.4 again. I am crying.

Fitz official 40 was a 4.46. James was a 4.47 Apke (white guy Deion can't stop talking about) 4.34.

Ward (OSU CB) ran a 4.32.

I know it's probably been stated but I'm pages and pages behind in this thread, but I wanted to say that catch by Shaquem Griffin was utterly impressive. 4.38 or something 40, one of the fastest LB'ers for a long time. 20 on the bench...

Some thoughts:

--I think Ward has a good shot to go in the top 10.

--I was not impressed w/most of the corners.

--I think Fitz is the best player in the draft and he would be an awesome pick at 4.

Fitz the best player in which position... I'm curious now... Cover Corner where he played 60% of the snaps, or Star/nickle?

Or its his athletic ability... because to be a drafted at #4 he has to be a number 1 CB in the team, playing outside against the #1 WR, something which is not clear Fitz can do....

I heard Sashi was there this year. Some of the coaches were miffed because Sashi traded the food and drinks that they would have had this year for even more food and drinks the next two years.

Yeah but next year Hue will be in charge and when he places the food and drink orders he'll screw it up and his excuse will be he that he didn't have the right utensils.

It was intended to be humorous.

But, addressing your scenario.......I could see Hue ordering soup and Sashi only giving him and the other coaches forks and knives while removing all of the spoons.
