NK promises SK it will not attack - talks of de-arming.

This isn’t anything close to talks of disarming.

They simply said they won’t launch a nuke at SK and curb their testing.

You see, NK has for years been developing nukes - only under trump has they have decided they would begin to negotiate. They have never had nukes until recently - so it is impossible "they have been saying this for years" when they haven't had nukes. but spin and lie what you must.

NK has been calling for a NAP with the US for decades and in return they would give up their mission for a nuclear bomb. They only want nuclear bombs to guarantee their own safety. The US has never invaded a country with nuclear bombs, outside of the limited bombings runs in Pakistan that was a continuation of the war on terror in Afghanistan.

Also, I don't remember saying that Trump would lead to WW3. I do think he's an ineffective leader and has cost us a proxy war in Syria and will probably lose territory in the UK to Russia. While I think these proxy wars were a horrible thing that Obama started, it's a shame that Trump has given authoritarians more power after a failed power grab by Obama. That said, I don't think he'll start a nuclear war with North Korea. MAD is a pretty fair deterrent.

Sounds like you side with NK, poor poor dictator that kills, starves, and murders millions of his own people. Hes just misunderstood. . . . They only want nukes so they can use them. Plain and simple.

We have bent and cowardly given NK pretty much anything they have wanted, and allowed them to develop these weapons over decades, like you said. Now, we finally have a POTUS that comes in and seems to be doing something about it for once. Will it work out in the end - we don't know that. But in a year he has progressed more than any other president before him on this issue.

I don't side with NK. Although, how do you expect them to feed their people when the UN has imposed a sanction that bans food and agriculture products? Just curious. Not taking their side, but how would you do it?

As for Trump, we'll see what happens. A lot of Presidents have engaged the DPRK before.

The fact is you complain about sanctions on NK, and that's the reason they are not feeding their people supposedly (even though Kim looks mightily fed), yet it was because of the Nukes that the sanctions were placed. Chicken or Egg?

Where did I complain? You said that North Koreans starved their population. Which is true. I asked how you would feed them, then you went off the rails. You started asking dumb questions about topics we're talking about.

The sanctions have crippled their economy, but hasn't stopped their military development completely. Although they have had many hazardous launches. Would you prefer another way with North Korea?

I prefer the way president trump is proceeding with NK, as proof is in the pudding so far.

I do not prefer the way of NK having nuclear weapons that it can and will most likely use on the US and possibly its own people.

However, it’s gonna be interesting. The only way I see NK denuclearized is if the US pulls troops out of SK. The next best thing would be a halt to missile testing in exchange for massive sanction relief.
