It depends which mock draft engine you use. Using 'First Pick' (the one used here) Kolton Miller goes late 2nd/early 3rd. But if you use 'On The Clock' none of the top 5 OT, including Miller, ever seen to make it out of the 1st round. I like Miller, and if we can get him at the top of the 3rd, I would like it.

Yep. OTC puts more emphasis on filling team needs. But if 5 OTs go in the first round then Sashi deserves a key to the city. The talent that would be available would be unreal.

Thanks. Unfortunately, it wasn't a straight up draft. I aborted about a dozen drafts because I didn't like my choices at #64/65 (2-32/3-1). I'm still not crazy about Miller there, but the WRs I really wanted were gone. I kept hoping Vander Ech would fall to the 2-32 round pick, but he never did.

Here's an interesting mock from CBS. I don't know about Allen at #1 overall, but he is an interesting guy. I might go a different way, but really, there is no clear cut #1 guy this year. This moch has us trading down with the Dolphin. I would hate to lose out on Minkah Fitzpatrick, but if we did trade down, added more draft capital, (including a 4th 2nd round pick) and still got him ..... well, that would be huge.

11. Cleveland Browns (via mock trade)
Minkah Fitzpatrick, DB, Alabama. The Browns netted this pick, the Dolphins' 2018 second-rounder, the Dolphins' second fourth-round selection and a 2019 third-round pick in the trade and still land a top-tier prospect in Fitzpatrick, a "slot safety" with plenty of athleticism to shoulder multiple responsibilities in Cleveland.

While accepting that the 1st overall might still be in flux, I would be more than good if the 4th plays out like this.

I traded away next year's first, #35, and our 6th & 7th round picks to trade up for Minkah. I'm not really in the draft Barkley and hope for your QB camp, but I'm good with this result. I probably should have taken 2 WR and added a CB, but the available picks just fell that way. (I really like Chark. Don't really need both Sutton and ESB.) I'm also thinking getting Wilson healthy and adding Johnson in FA takes the pressure of our CB needs.

Its all good. I'm not super high on Hughes myself - he was the highest rated CB on the board when I picked. He was only a 1 year starter, but obviously he's talented if he's in consideration this early.
