What makes you think that having good hands, running crisp routes, toughness, and having the ability find soft spots in the zones are positive attributes and why in the hell would any team want a guy who can bring those skills to the field?

the sad thing is, I can't hardly remember many WR's that we've had that had "good hands" ... Joe J?
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

When was the last time we actually had even ONE WR who could sit in the Soft Spot in a Zone, Run a Slant or an Out and actually CATCH the damn ball? JUREVICIOUS. Landry's a damn STUD. Andrew Hawkins? Taylor Gabriel? Brian Hartline? If the standard is Joe Jurevicius, than it does not take much to fulfill the standard.

Have any of those guys made the Pro Bowl or put up numbers like Landry has?
You guys are not being fair. Landry is a very good WR.

Here are some pretty good Browns WR's: Dub Jones, Dante Lavelli, Ray Renfro, Paul Warfield, Gary Collins, Ricky Feacher, Dave Logan, Reggie Rucker, Reggie Langhorne, Webster Slaughter, Brian Brennan, Kevin Johnson, Dennis Northcutt, Braylin Edwards, and Josh Gordon Just to name a few ...

Dennis Dropcutt did NOT have "good hands". Good ability and average hands at best. Yes, I'm still mad he dropped the game winner in the 2002 playoffs.

Braylon Edwards would make an awesome catch followed by an easy drop as well. Not sure I would call him sure handed.

My hope is they go ALL out to get Cousins. Offer him a huge deal and hope he wants the money. IF we sign him (and that is doubtful I admit) take Barkley at #1 and Fitz at #4.
If Cousins won't take our call, then Case Keenum would be my second choice. In that case, I'd still take Barkley at #1 but I'd take a QB at #4.
I was hoping Bell would be a FA and we could go after him. Signing him would help us and hurt the Squealers but it looks like they are going to tag him.
All of this is out the window if Joe Thomas retires. In that case Left Tackle becomes the top priority in FA and a pretty high one in the draft.

I'll admit that I didn't watch Keenum much this year, but he clearly got the job done. I worry that he may have been the product of a good system and good WRs, but time will tell.
In terms of Joe T ... I think it's safe to assume he'll be back now. It's pretty late in the process, especially once FA starts

In terms of Joe T ... I think it's safe to assume he'll be back now. It's pretty late in the process, especially once FA starts He just audition for FOX to do commentary, his podcast is almost stupidly successful and he seems to be having a great time being very open and honest on social media. I think the only reason he's not announced his retirement yet is he's waiting for exactly what he's said he wants - Kirk Cousins. If anyone wants him or not, I think we can all agree that Cousins is likely Joe's best chance to see the playoffs with the Browns. I think if the Browns don't get Cousins, Thomas will likely hang up the boots. https://247sports.com/nfl/cleveland-brow...-soon-115918212

Well, he should be pretty well rested up by now.
Personally, I would be really upset being a healthy scratch; that seems to be the ultimate insult to me. This doesn't seem like the "Patriot's way" at all. Not sure he is worth it. Billy B must think it's all good.

Or he takes the $14M that's on the table.

Or he takes the $14M that's on the table. Joe is a pretty down to earth guy. I think he has what he wants and has plenty of money in the bank. I don't think money is very high on his list of needs or wants.

Not to mention, he should have/has PLENTY of great avenues to take to continue that money flow minus all the negative he's grown accustomed to here.

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000...-play-for-hawksNFL.com only says he doesn't expect to play in Seattle next year. I'm kinda torn on trying to bring him in. I think he will cost an arm and a leg, and I think he's obnoxious as all get-out. But he's really good at a position of great need for us.
There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.

I supposed if I never read anything about what he said to the media, or listened to him talk - I'd be game for going after him lol. Man that mouth of his drives me INSANE! It's like that beat up, rusted out Chevy S-10, capable of running non-stop and forever with no fashion/style to accommodate it... but it does run good lol.

This was expected ... the night he got hurt even the announcers were saying thats his last snap as a Seahag ..
I think he has diminishing skills and is no where’s near what he used to be ... but he sure as all hell would help us ...
It’ll be interesting to see how this turns out ...

Rumors on twitter say NE, but it surely appears he'll be elsewhere

The rumors always say NE.
I have a hard time seeing Sherman go from Pete Carroll to BB.

Seattle had their run. It's tear down time. Chancellor, Sherman, Bennett and soon to be Thomas. GONE.

But yeah in all serious, that team is losing a lot of popular faces and people. Earl Thomas, unless some team gave up all their first round picks for the next three years or something else really obnoxious - I don't see traded.
