Wow so we gave up Kizer for Randall is there picks involved also? Was never a big fan of Kizer but the chance to learn under Aaron Rodgers is surely going to benefit him. So which QB we taking to sit under Tyrod now then Darnold? And at 1-4? I love the offseason!!

Hate it. We send a talented kid to the perfect situation for him and their team in exchange for a cornerback who PFF grades as significantly worse than Jamar Taylor.

I just don't get it. That's dumb. If he was on the trading block, should have carried him behind Taylor and (I'm assuming) the rookie. A great preseason would have bumped his value significantly, especially if injury strikes.

All we get is a corner who, frankly, doesn't solve our problems at corner. He's a nice addition but we're not set.

On the bright side, this means the Browns love a QB in the draft and are confident of landing him, which, in my eyes, implies #1. I just think there was better opportunities to increase kizer's value.

Crazy day.

Glad to see Kizer gone. Still not happy about TT, I don't like him.

I think we're better, but not sure how much.

Well, I think I'd rather have Kizer, I mean, at least he had some accurate throw drops.

If all I had to give up was a replacable cornerback, then it's a win win for whomever's giving up the cornerback.

Think about the game, a ? Cornerback, for a ? Quarterback.

A corner is like a tank of gasoline, and the Qb is like an engine block.

I'd trade a Corner for a Qb, almost every time, it's like Jack and the magic beans and the beanstalk.

Oh well, Go Browns.

Can Deshaun Watson play better for the Browns, than Baker Mayfield would have? ... Now the Games count.

Taylor is a better QB than Kiser, no denying that, but I liked Kisers potential. Hate to see him go.

I just want a winner. We need players who can be part of the solution not part of the problem.

Meh, Kizer was always going to be the 0-16 QB here. Everytime he struggled the boo birds would have been pouring on. Probably best for all.

Kizer had no long term future with the team. Might as well get something for him.

With bringing in a vet and drafting a qb very high, Kiser was never going to see the field here again. This is really the best thing that could have happened to him.

If he hadn't been thrown to the wolves he might've had one.

If I recall, he won the spot. If I had to watch him throw another redzone INT again I would be sick.

Kid needs a lot of time, and to magically become an accurate passer.

Not withstanding the potential improvement in his second year - the Browns are a better team today than yesterday.

I hope Kizer does well - he had a good attitude throughout a tough year. I saw nothing but professionalism from him and good work ethic. . . . but that said, his projected ability to improve and be a starter in the future is a giant leap of faith based on year one. We'll see. I can't imagine Dorsey made this decision in a vacuum - and I'll offer my opinion that this must have come with Hue's blessing.

He won the spot because there was no competition and then was asked to do things that no rookie was ever asked to do.

He was inaccurate at ND and it continued in Cleveland, I hope the best for him but its going to take a lot to change that ... JMHO

With the team hinting at signing a vet QB and drafting one high, this was the best thing for Kiser. If they thought he was worth keeping, I'm sure he would not be traded. IMO, inaccuracy can not be fixed.

God I hope not because, and this should be obvious to everyone, we still need a QB.

I was kinda hoping that we would end up hanging onto Kizer and let him work stuff out as a 3rd QB. Oh well. I hope the guy does well, he's going to a great place to sit and learn.

I will say that I'm surprised that Kizer is gone but Kessler and Hogan are still on the team.

The consensus must have been that the kids outlook wasn't very promising. Not terribly disappointed to dump the bad memories of the 2017 season

OK, so at about 3:30, I took my mom to run a few errands, and then took her to dinner for her 85th birthday.

I get home around 7:00, and find that all heck has broken loose. rofl

I don't believe the QB room has been fully redecorated yet.
Look for a professional backup to be signed, and then good-bye to both Hogan and Kessler.

Would that pro-backup be Kessler?

I hope not, but perhaps that's the idea.

It is amazing to see Gordon so excited and focused. I love this.

I don't want to get too far ahead of myself, but Tyrod Taylor isn't lacking weapons, and the Browns have set themselves in a prime position to add a QB at #1 before putting a heavy emphasis on fixing this secondary.

Since Hue was why they picked all of our QB's, I'm shocked that this FO sent Hue's pick Kizer packing. We already have dysfunction in the organization!

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.
