Has there yet been a trade this off-season of a player we COULDN'T use and for a deal we COULDN'T easily beat? Lol we're #1 in available cap and a ton of draft pick assets... we probably could give outrageous amounts for anything and everything with the various capital we have. Plus I don't think it comes down to just that. I recall reading that NE was willing to give more for Bennett but that didn't fall through.

Piggybacking on what @DustinFox37 has reported about another trade being in the works, hearing #Browns are working multiple fronts in an attempt to make additional trades on top of Friday’s activity.

I don't know why, but I bet we're looking for secondary
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

Just remember as stated for days now ---- Dorsey has grown tired of being second fiddle in trade talks -- his ego will take over (has), Browns have irons in the fire https://twitter.com/TheRealLA__/status/972360239948451841This is from OBR

I would say they should stop trading at this point and focus on signing people. The Kizer thing makes sense, because they got their bridge guy and he was not the future. So fine, they got a serviceable CB for a prospect. LOVE the Landry trade. Taylor could be the best QB starter we have had in years, and he cost very little. Really lets us allow the first-round pick to watch. This is fun!

After the three trades happened, Dustin Fox of 92.3 the Fan said on the radio that he heard a fourth trade “was pretty much done,” but he wasn’t sure when it’d be announced and he wouldn’t say what it was. https://www.dawgsbynature.com/2018/3/9/1...marious-randallFull article in the link provided.

IMO, I think we want to move Shelton/Coleman if possible (and for a right price). Shelton has some value as a run stopper.

Wow, Shelton played up to his draft position and IMO had a pro bowl season in fact if the Browns had won just a few games I think he is a shoe in pro bowler. I was very impressed with his play. Colemen I concede has been disappointing but that may change, however the Browns may be willing to move on. But Shelton wow makes me wonder !@#$%^&()

I would not trade either of those guys. We would get low draft picks for them and they both still have strong upside. I see nothing wrong with Shelton at all. I LOVE having tons of good DL guys.

But after him, Sheleton is superior to Coley. Brantley, it's still up in the air. Shelton certainly has value as a starter on this team.

Going on what I have heard via rumors...apparently Dustin Fox hinted yesterday there is a 4th blockbuster Browns trade in the pipeline (and he said his sources were good)? Anybody else hear this?
If so....Honey Badger or Earl Thomas???

Yet posters are already complaining about trading Shelton or Coleman. Let's wait and see. Fans get used to certain names. They have carried high hopes of those players improving to the degree that they really believe it will happen, because it just has to. Thus they form an attachment to those players. I've seen it over and over.

Not to be too cynical but I can’t help but wonder if this is a Bowe/Britt style retirement contract.

Tyrann Mathieu posted a cryptic tweet about 3 hours ago.
Honey Badger Kennels *laughing face*
https://twitter.com/Mathieu_Era?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Eauthor
All of the people commenting are speculating that he may be coming to the Browns. Even Tyrod Taylor tweeted back and said:
"Come join the fun in the #DawgPound Honey Badger!! @Browns are where the fun is going to be!!
This would be an amazing pickup for us!!! Would solidify the free safety position and be a great start to making that defensive backfield nasty!

I saw that tweet as well. It would be a nice pick up. This would definitely take Fitz out of play (my choice at 4). We have been looking at pass rushers so maybe Chubb if he is there? I know a lot of speculation from a tweet that may have nothing to do with us!

I agree... and I almost didn't post anything about it until I saw Tyrod jump in. Even if it isn't true, I love seeing our new starting quarterback's excitement. And I love even more that he is recruiting other players too. Gets me even more pumped up!!!
I like Fitzpatrick at 4 a lot, but given the option between a promising talent coming into the NFL, and a bonafide pro-bowl proven NFL talent, I will take the latter. Especially being that it would free up pick 4 for Barkley or even a trade down for more value!!
