From one bad team to another... maybe Crow will take the black cloud that has been with us for all of these years.

My guess is not much. Free agent running backs don't make much.

If that is the case, then this article bodes well for us?

If nothing else, it's one more team out of the running.

Yes - but GB has Aaron and is a much better team - at this point in time. Pettine would love to stick it to the Browns, too. Bet they go full bore trying to get Johnson.

I want plenty of cap space to sign our young guys when due and to add a piece or two when we are making a huge push in the playoffs. Get some necessities and leave a nice chunk for later.

So assuming we get Johnson or another CB.

It looks like we won't be targeting OL, CB or DE in the first two rounds.

I could still see us getting Fitzpatrick but tough to see us taking anyone else other than him or an OL or DE.

Regarding Bradford (1-yr $20 contract from Arizona)...Shots fired

https://twitter.com/JamesDKoh/status/973633115166883840

Per Spotrac, Sam Bradford after next season will have made $134 MILLION dollars in just 9 seasons. Aaron Rodgers has made $137M in his 13-year career thus far.

And from Eric Weddle...

https://twitter.com/weddlesbeard/status/973635852109787137

So dumb. Bradford has been paid more for nothing than anyone in history of nfl

Man, the guy has played 80 games in 8 years and is 34-45-1 in those games too.

Huh? Why not? Because of these Free Agents? Other than potentially Trumaine Johnson, none of these Free Agents are that special. Not special enough to not select one of these guys in the first two rounds

We have three second round picks and two first round picks, lol

I could easily see us selecting all three of those positions

Bradford was the last #1 pick to get paid under the old CBA, before the current rookie slotting system.

I'd expect Johnson to sign for a LOT of money

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

If we were to sign Johnson and Solder, I would guess that we would burn through $40-50 million in cap space this season. (between salary and signing bonus allotment)

Second round yes, but first round would surprise me.

Should we try to target Jordy Nelson? Just released by the Packers.

Does he fit here? Is he healthy? Would he even pick up the phone?

That's a FA, signing I really wanted to see here. Oh well.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

kinda surprised he is going to the jets... interested in seeing those numbers.

Isn't all of this stuff is speculation until the ink is dried?

My understanding is that any team can come in at the last second to change a players mind with a larger contract.

He got $15 million per year.

https://twitter.com/RapSheet/status/973695997837750274

The guarantees matter the most, but that would make him the highest paid corner in the league.

Disappointing thus far...Besides those trades where we had to involve picks...We have lured no-one outside of some no name swing tackles.
