They inked the best CB in FA...along with the best LB in FA...

They inked two of the near top QBs in FA (I mean both have big question marks as well)

And they signed Crow at RB as well...they def. didnt wait long to pay out lol

CB Prince Amukamara gets $27m over three years with the Bears, as @DanGrazianoESPN said. This after he played on one-year deals for $6m and $7m the last two seasons. Good deal for Prince.

Also, what do you all think will happen with McCarron and Bridgewater? It seems like they are kinda left out in the cold at this point. Who is left to sign either of them? The Giants and the Colts maybe?

CLE - Taylor
NYJ - McCown
DEN - Keenum
MIN - Cousins
ARI - Bradford
NO - Brees

Bridgewater is going to the Jets.

I read that earlier, then read another, after McCown re-signed, that said that Bridgewater was considering the Jets offer, but that McCown was going to start this year.

Jets don't get Kirk Cousins, but get Josh McCown and Teddy Bridgewater instead. With the first round still to come....

Chris Mortensen

@mortreport

Teddy Bridgewater plans to sign a one year deal with the Jets Wednesday, per source

The Mathieu thing is having too much read into it.... the dude is just happy for his buddy Juice. Of course, he fits a need and we have a ton of money, but beyond that, most of those tweets are nothing but him acknowledging that his buddy on one side and Flash on the other means that ANYBODY could play QB.... "just throw it up there"

Browns is the Browns

... there goes Joe Thomas, the best there ever was in this game.

I've always wished we would have held onto him. ... remember how electric he was before injury here

Norv knew exactly why he wanted him lol. Injury issues though. He's a fun player to watch though.

Exactly, I think he was here for two seasons and injured for both

Yes. He is trolling us.

The Tweets were before we knew Randall is going to play safety.

Umm the last one was 40 minutes ago. Randall playing FS as I understand is just speculation.

Mathieu was already on record saying he wants to go where he can get paid.

It'd definitely be a good step. Pryor and Joe Thomas coming back (or Nat Solder) would make me real happy though.

That and a corner.

Yes. A corner.

BY FAR my biggest concern right now.

Really confused we didn't ink Breeland.

If we don't get a corner, I think that corner will be a big deal in the draft....maybe both the first and 2nd round.

I do think Sashi made a mistake last year by not signing another CB other than just Howard Wilson. It was a deep class.

I must admit, I was a little underwhelmed. I was hoping for one or two big signings. I was really hoping we could walk out with Johnson.

I like the moves we've made. A few solid veteran additions. None break the bank, all will compete, all will provide some veteran presence. Combined with the trades, that's a lot of maturity and reliability added to the roster.

It's a weird feeling. Being underwhelmed isn't a negative thing. It was solid.

I was really hoping to land a starting CB ... I'm not sure there's any left in FA now

Big FA names have a choice, our money did not make us the most attractive especially if we weren't willing to overpay.

Maybe not. At least rookie corners can step in and play well. There isn't a lot of transitioning from college to the pros at that position.
