A few things -I'm not sure how old you are, but this video was put out in the 80's and just about all video's in the 80's looked like this (except for the hair bands of course)....so it wasn't really considered a "bad video" for it's time.
I remember hearing this on the radio for the first time, thinking that it HAD to be a large black man that sang it, only to be shocked seeing this skinny white dude in the video.
