Thanks Joe, for being the best Browns player in decades! First ballot HOFer for sure and for certain! Bufallo isn't at #21 anymore, they traded up with the Bengals. They sit at #12 right now.

Joe Thomas only won 40 games and lost 128 in his NFL career.
The last time the Browns were a .500 was his rookie season.
He had 20 starting Quarterbacks.
I'm sure the mental abuse also took it's toll.

Man, I am listening to Joe talk about how he had torn cartilage that felt like grinding in his knee, and how much pain he was in, and I can say from 1st hand experience, it hurts like the devil! For him to play through that is just astonishing. Joe said that the Browns want him to stay involved with the team and he looks forward to that.  Joe, I will miss seeing you playing on Sundays. I wish you well in retirement, and have no doubt that you will be successful in whatever you do. I hope that you find relief for your pain. I know firsthand how debilitating pain can be, and I have mad respect for you somehow playing through that.
