Guys check yourself, if u feel a lump, any swelling, if it just feels different go to the doctor. 3 weeks ago, my right one swelled up and its being removed next week march 29. Doc said he is certain its cancer but wont know for sure until after its removed, biopsy to risky of spreading it. So far doesnt look like its spread outside the testicle.

Again just check yourself often.

I found a lump also a few months ago. I've had thyroid cancer already so it really concerned me. It WAS NOT cancer!!! There are a number of different things that can happen on your testes that can resemble lumps but aren't cancer! I'd certainly want more proof than by feel!

i have, i had an ultrasound and it showed multiple masses inside the testicle. now it feels hard like a rock. had 4 doctors and two primary nurses checking my junk the last week. not something i am doing lightly.

Ok. Glad they've been thoroughly through it! I had something called Epididymitis or some stuff.

I know several people that have had one removed due to cancer, and they are all doing fine. Praying that your outcome is the same.

I see my urologist next week, as I have for the past 5 years. At my age, and with the problems some of my friends have had, it seemed like a really good idea.

Good luck bro, I'll keep good thoughts for you. My best friend just went through it, he's doing good now. Strange story, when I was in my late 20s my left nut swelled up to about the size of an avocado. I woke up in the middle of the night in excruciating agony and my wife had to take me to the hospital. They got it under control with antibiotics, got the swelling down, and sent me home, everything seemed to be fine. About a week later I was at a UCLA-USC game in the Rose Bowl having a great time when I started feeling that familiar pain. Within about 15 minutes I was doubled over clutching myself. My buddies got me out to the car but we were blocked in because of the stupid way they parked there. My buddies started gathering people and got a bunch of dudes to physically lift a car and move it out of our way so they could take me to the hospital. Long story short they had to remove it. They never did figure out what the problem was, so I kind of know what you're going through and hope for you the best possible outcome.

Hey Mourg. My son went through this last year. Not sure if you read any of my threads on the issue.

It's scary as hell and chemo sucks. However, I can tell you that it's treatable and in fact, my son is doing very well right now.

Keep the faith and please stay positive. It's huge!!!

Sorry to hear man. I hope they are putting a balancer in for you. I had a neighbor have to get one removed after desert storm and he said it made him miserable until they put in an insert. I didn't really pry for details since I was in my teens back then ^^

Great that you caught it early. From what I know about testicular cancer, if you catch it early then the prognosis is very good.

One of mine(left) has been swollen to the size of a golf ball for 4-5 years. I've attributed that to partial hernias on both sides with the left side being moreso.

After prostate cancer and removal surg + all 6 lymph nodes removed 1.5 ago I now have new concerns. PSA test 2 weeks ago just came back at 0.003 so still good to go there but.......

That's awesome. Like I said earlier, my son went through it. His did spread, but he is doing well.
