lmfao. dude you had them thinking that you was one of them, a trump supporter.

i knew you was cool when you described what trump was.

For someone constantly complaining about stereotypes, you seem to do it rather frequently on this board.

I would hate to live my life thinking things about others before knowing anything about them. I pity you, I do.

1. More than half of this country truly believes that a misogynist, racist, childish, buffoon was elected president and it pisses them off.

2. And they can't talk to the people who even thought about voting for that man, because the hatred boils over. In past elections, they didn't like the Republican candidate who won, but it wasn't like this. This time, they're all missing the days when the worst it got was George W. Bush.

3. So when they can't respect the President as a human being, and can't understand why any other human would vote for him to lead them, they therefore will not respect those humans who voted for him. It's a simple equation really.

4. When the person places their vote for such an individual, they no longer have any credibility left.

5. And that's just how I feel. So while I think working together would be the smart thing to do, I ask how? How can you work with someone you absolutely hate the very core of???

rofl Mmmmm?

That would be the part where he admitted those of you are so short sighted in hate, cannot have a civil discussion without needing a tissue.

I have no problem with anyone who has different political opinions, as proven by my stating he gave decent points - you see, unlike some closed minded sheep, I can contend a good point without actually agreeing that point, right? You do realize how civil discussion work.....nah you don't.

No you have never stereotyped trump supporters once on this board, you just call them all bigots, racist, pedophiles, rednecks, white trash, etc etc. Please. Actually, I would contend that you may be the most race baiting poster on this board - its a toss up between you an another poster, but right now you are ahead by a hair.

Trump, above everything else, better not turn out to be a traitor.

white trash?

i dont think ive ever used that term on this board. ive seen plenty of other white people use it, but imma need you to show some proof.

and pointing out racism isn't race baiting. it's pointing out facts.

but i know you dont like facts, willit.

Ok, may I ask you a few questions since you are new?

-Do you dislike the Tax Cuts that puts more money in our pockets and will simplify our tax filing from now on?

-Do you dislike the Tax Reform and Cuts to Corporations that enable them to compete internationally and afford bonuses to employees?

-Do you think the Presidents tough talk brought the North Koreans to the negotiating table?

-Do you think our trade agreements are one sided towards our partners and need to be made more fair?

442. Is that a Ref to a Oldsmobile 442? Love that ride had a 65 442 back in the day. Welcome aboard. The thick skin will serve you well. Beware this board leans to the right. But we're finding out they are mostly Russian led GOP bots cept DC. lol

Sure is! I've got an '86 Olds 442 and I love it. Bought it about 10 years ago for $1400 and had it completely restored. And also replaced the original 307 engine with a built-up Rocket 350. Tried to model the engine after a '69 442. It's an entry-level classic car, and was a good investment. Plus since my dad the restoration, it's got sentimental value.

You should see my neighbor's 69. Completely original, mint. He drove about 9 hours to go get it. A guy was in a bind and had to sell it. - he got for 15K, still to this day I contend that cars worth almost double.

Man does it scream going down the street.

I'm not new, just newly registered. I've been reading your political rhetoric for a long time. I mostly pay attention to the football side of this board, but every now and then I like to get irritated and read the posts over here. I am not the right person to get into a political debate on trade agreements and tax reform. I don't know enough about it to be honest. You may use that as a hot topic to discredit me as a liberal, but I think it shows that I won't talk out of my butt about issues I know nothing about.

As a liberal, I care about:
Healthcare
Education
Gun-Control
Prison System
Other things.

I replied in another post about how other countries do things better than we do, and that specifically is healthcare and education. If you want go get into a debate on healthcare, we can talk. America sucks at healthcare.

Snark.

At least you fit the mold of what i described. Keep winning over the masses with your intellectual reasoning Swish.

Did you become a conservative because you wanted a monopoly on snark? Calling people plebs is extremely inflammatory and really unbecoming.

Think about the word pleb, look up the definition. Re-evaluate what was said.

Blind partisanship is for plebs....on both sides, it is absolutely factual. If you find that to be inflammatory, I'm sorry but in my estimation it is an absolute fact. Anyone with a high school education can see that both sides are hypocritical and deluded.

lol look at this elitist who watched Rome one time. If you knew anything about Plebis, then you would know they could not operate in the Senate at all. And while the ruling class finally allowed Plebs to have a legislative arm, all motions ended up being decided by the Senate. Plebeian law was only enforced on plebs and not patricians, so it really didn't matter for the Senate to approve laws. Finally, if you looked at which people had the most plebeian support, it's the Gracchi brothers and Julius Caesar. If you weren't supporting either of them, then you probably weren't think or was a member of the patrician.

I get that you're hurt because the other side called you names or your friend names. But calling people plebs is such poor show. We get it, you're an elitist and anyone who thinks differently from you is a lowly commoner who isn't thinking for themselves, because if they were thinking for themselves they would have your views and not their own.

Most lowly commoners don't think for themselves. What world are you living in?

Flex on em? How old are you?

lol how did you, a lowly commoner come to that conclusion? Don't get lack of agency confused with lack of knowledge. You done with your Alt-Roman history class?

Easily worth $30k. Especially as a "Survivor". I love classic cars. They're simple and beautiful and things make sense when behind the wheel.

Nothing to be confused about. Your narrative is see through. Plebians did more for Rome than the entire Crassus clan. Look up the word Plebian and its history. If you want to be an elitist, go for it. But at least make your digs historically accurate.

I thought I was being extremely transparent intentionally. You're the one thinking it was some play on words where I was hiding my intentions. What's that say about you?

No, you wanted to be an elitist and got called on it. Then told me to look up the word, despite you not knowing the history behind the word. You wanted to sound smart, got the rug pulled out from under you and now you're a little butt hurt.

u r crushing me with ur big brain and elitist attitude. Have you read your posts in this thread? You're calling people hacks, plebs, and rolling your eyes at their posts. If that's what you think adult discourse looks like then I am fine with being childish in your ever rolling eyes. It's honestly a funny way to carry yourself when you admit the that you're now on the right because liberals r the meaniest of them all. You would think that someone who became alienated with political parties due to rhetoric, would be much more careful with their own rhetoric, knowing first hand how poorly it is received.

A pathetic misrepresentation. At no point did I say I was on the right. You're the one exclusively taking my pleb comment as if I am only talking about democrats. Despite my very specific comment that blind partisanship was for plebs and I quote "on both sides".

No, I read your posts and were not confused about them. Maybe you could've written them better. You literally said 'The left left me.' and that your Democrat friends think you're on the right.

Also, I am fully aware that your dumb pleb comments was bipartisan hate, which made it even more dumb. Then again, it came from a pleb who doesn't believe plebs are smart enough to discern enough to participate in political thought.

Given Trumps actions like bullying people, Name calling like a 5 years old child, lying about people,, Lying too people(the american people and the canadian PM as major examples), destroying relations with out allies,(could care less about those that aren't considered allies), inability to hold Putin accountable, lack of response to Puerto Rico... I could go on, but what's the use.. people that support Trump will just tell me he's great and was given to us by a divine being to save us. But not right away because he has a round of golf to get in and he has to hit on some playboy bunny before he gets to that kind of stuff...

New nick name for Donald Trump......DUMB DUMB Donnie.

And you accused him of name calling like a 5 year old?

he's only following the POTUS example, afterall.

i mean, the POTUS is suppose to represent the very best of us.

so im sure you dont see anything wrong with my daughter asking me who stormy daniels was during a car ride, and me awkwardly having to explain to her who she was and how it relates to the president.

what a great example your fellow conservatives set in the oval.

I know you weren't old enough during the Clinton years.. but that argument was made 100K times by the right back then... and the left called the right a bunch of sticks in the mud, old people overly concerned with other peoples sex lives, Europe was laughing at us for being concerned over who was blowing the President in the oval office, how do I explain to my kids who Juanita Broderick, Kathleen Willey, Paula Jones, Gennifer Flowers, and Monica Lewinsky are and what they have to do with the President they are supposed to look up to.....

So Trump is just following Clinton's example after all...

As for what to tell your daughter.. I don't know, weren't you that age in the late 90s? What did your parents tell you?

My parents weren’t Clinton supporters because my dad considered him a draft dodger.

My dad also didn’t like Clinton disgracing the oval that manner.

I follow my dads beliefs, if it isn’t obvious enough.

That moral equivalency might work with whoever you talk to in a regular, but I have no such desire to play what about.

Wrong is wrong. I don’t need to constantly try to compare situations in order to make that point.

Your right, completely different scenarios - 1 president did it while in office, 1 guy did it 11 years ago (allegedly).
