I'm looking into purchasing PSLs for some solid lower level seats. If I find good seats, I don't mind investing in keeping those seats.

Few Questions...

Are there any places besides Ebay to find PSLs for sale?

If PSL holders don't purchase tickets, are there PSLs then forfeited to the Browns? I'm asking because I'm curious as to whether it would make more sense to wait til after PSLs are forfeited and deal directly with the Browns.

That said - I would think current seat holders would be given the option to upgrade before they're maid available to the public. Anyone know if that is true?

Thanks in advance. wink

The Brown's don't do PSL's anymore. I technically still own my 2 PSL's but they are basically worthless. I added a seat a few years ago and it isn't a PSL. For really good lowers they may have some value still but I doubt it. I'm in the upper deck on the 50 (section 534), row 12 - trying to move closer in that section, I really like the view from the upper deck. I sit in the lower bowl most of the time at away games I attend and find I like the higher view better. Clubs on the 50 are the best IMO, but they are about 400/seat per game so 2 seats would be about 8k per year.

I'd call the ticket office - sometimes they treat potential seat buyers better than existing holders. The upgrade process for existing holders is several months away - you put a request in when paying for the season tickets.

yeah, call the ticket office. Don't agree right away, maybe say you'll mull it over ... call back a few times

"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

So basically, we're assuming (makes sense) that if a PSL is voided (by not purchasing season tickets) it just disappears because the Browns no longer sell them. Yet, they honor PSL seat holders by renewing their seats every year.

So... if I get good seats by purchasing season tickets through the Browns I can renew those same seats every year anyway.

Wow. Then it definitely makes sense to talk to the Browns first and forgo a 2500 - 3000 investment, provided I can book some solid seats.

I like lowers but want to be at least 15-20 rows up for perspective. Would like seats between the 10 and 20 (at the very least) if I go that route. If I could hook up with Club Seats I would be in Dawg Heaven!

There are no PSLs anymore as others have said.

When I spoke to my ticket rep she stated the lower bowl is and has been sold out for sometime. You can still get into the lower bowl by purchasing tickets to Club '46, Key Bank Club, The Draft Room or The Cardiac Club.

I purchased tickets in section 307, which some might say provide a better view than lower bowl. I can continue to buy these same seats year after year if I choose.

If you get too close to the field in the lower bowl it can be tough to see the play on the field.

Columbus, on the 50 (if any are available, are $2700 per seat for the year. $5.4K for the pair. I'm on the 35 yardline in 307 for $2k per seat. The section immediately next to me and rows down in front of me begin the $2700 price break. Sections (307, 310, 335 and 332 are a pretty good bang for the buck.

Great timing of this post. I looked at season tickets last night. There are some 300 and 500 level seats available. Nothing in the lower bowl, as Milk Man stated. I'm torn on sections 351, 511, or 534. I thought about 304, but am not sure I want to drop $3100 while not living there.

Does anyone know if they have an easy transfer method? I would go to one or two games this season, and would want to transfer the rest to my family electronically, if possible.

My family had PSL's. The team renovated the stadium, made their seats club seats and put them in a new price point. Moved their view from about the 40 to around the 25 now.

Total nonsense.

After seeing that, I don't think i'd ever buy PSL's. Why buy PSL's if they just can change up the stadium, make your seats much more expensive, and then offer to accomodate you by giving you worse seats for about the same price?

Seems like a total scam to me

304 was available? That would be tempting. Did they rattle off a bunch of other good club seats available?

Hey clwb...I would think you could also sell the occasional tickets to the Portland Browns Backers.

How many tix are you looking at for that price?

I'd be looking at 2 season tickets regardless of the price (the $3100 I mentioned was for 2 tickets).

Between my family and a few close friends from childhood, I'm sure all would be taken. Of course, I could always try here as well. I didn't think of the PDX Backers, good idea. Local OSU Alumni Association too.

I've been on the waitlist for texans season tickets for a few years... figured once I stop working for the most I could go to a game or two and sell the rest.... I think I'm on my fourth or fifth year of waiting for season tickets... crazy....

I'd recommend calling a ticket rep. The ticketmaster site/viewer isn't always up to date or accurate. I initially purchased tickets in section 312, but was able to move closer towards the 50 yard in to section 307 after speaking with my rep and her seeing what was available. The seats in 307 were shown as unavailable on the Ticketmaster site when I viewed it.

You can always ask if seats are available in your price category of your choosing closest to the next section. For example, if you had aisle seats in 305 nearest section 306, you are essentially the width of the staircase farther away from the 50 yard line from folks paying and extra $450/year per seat. Hopefully, that makes sense when you look at the price chart.

Just a thought.

You can call, but those seats will be awarded to current season ticket holders who have put in for relocation.

If none have put in a request you might get good seats, but you aren't going to get bumped in front of people who may have held seats for 20 years and want to relocate.

Realistically, the only way you are going to get lower bowl seats is to buy them from a PSL holder.

I own 2 PSL's in the Lake Club. As Columbus said, right now they aren't worth anything. If I was to dump my seats next year, I have held my seats long enough that I don't care if I get that $2000 back or not. That was money spent 11 years ago. If the Browns turn it around, they could be worth a lot more than $2000 if enough fans want better seats then those they will be offered by the Browns.

Basically, when you first buy your seats, you get the seats no other season ticket holder wants. The odds of no season ticket holder requesting a upgrade is really small.

I like uppers as well. I was in the same section as Columbus for a number of years. As I got older I switched to the Clubs. I decided I wanted heat for when it is cold. After spending all morning tailgating somewhere, I like being able to warm up for45 minutes before the game before going to the seats. Same at halftime. In the uppers the only heated space was the restrooms, and how long are you going to hang out in there?LOL

They had some seats that weren't on the site, so thank you for the advice. Unfortunately, it was either $1550/seat or $550/seat.

Regardless, I now have 2 seats in section 535, and he put me on the relocation list, and will set me up with 2 VIP seats for a day at training camp.

Just for reference, he said that he had a little over 1000 accounts and so far he's had 100 not renew tickets...so any of you wanting to move, there may be a decent opportunity if that 10% (ish) goes across the board with all ticket reps.

What row peen? My wife and I were sect 330, last row. Row 18, seats 7 and 8 as I recall.. Loved the last row. Stand up, sit down, etc. Under the overhang is where to be imo.

Row 13. The drip line from the overhang drops on the row in front. Unless it is raining with the wind out of the south, not that often in Cleveland, it is usually blowing off the lake, rain isn't a issue for me.

I am pretty happy with the seats. I like the fact it is the sun side of the stadium. It can get hot for some of the early games, but it is nice in Nov. when we are taking off layers and you can see everybody bundled up on the other side of the stadium.

Great piece of info that actually helps my decision, buying today in 336.

Quick question... do the Club Sections feed directly into the Club Lounges?

I actually bought 2 Club seats when they came back in 99. Bought Club and ended up 315 last row hence falling in love w/last row. Was lookin for better Club and found 330 last row avail. Switched. Much better. I also had "Puppy Pound" section 347 row 17(outta 40+ rows as I recall) on the aisle next to 348 at same time as Clubs.

After failed L3/L4 back surg, stent implant(rca), dbl knee replacement, ongoing hernia issues, protate cancer/all 6 lymph nodes removal in the last 8ish years, I dumped them before 2017 season.

Yea, I know. I missed out on HISTORY!!! rofl

I'm now "sufferin" with the 4k curve 8' away and the fridge no more than 14 steps from the recliner.

As my grandmother used to say, "Dang It Anyhow"!!! willynilly

I really liked them. I just decided I wanted a place with some HVAC as a part of the deal. Once you got cold to the bone there was nowhere to warm up.
