“This is going to be a challenging election year,” McConnell said in a Tuesday interview with the Kentucky Today editorial board. “We know the wind is going to be in our face. We don’t know whether it’s going to be a Category 3, 4 or 5.”

Go Big Blue...you win and will spend the next 2 years trying in vain to get Trump impeached while getting nothing done but looking like Eric Cartman taking his ball and going home when he doesnt get his way.

Once again if a majority of registered voters turn out at the polls in any election moving forward in the U.S.A. the GOP doesn't stand a chance.

And when the majority of registered voters do turn out and vote the Blue Wave in and the Blue Wave fails to deliver on the promises they make then they dont show up and the GOP is back in...wash rinse repeat.

the problem is the majority of registered voters are low information suckers that fall for rope and chains....oppps i meant hope and change..

The way they fell for the con man in 2016 it's easy to see how uninformed they are.

It has been written that the "Meek shall inherit the earth".

Are those the same polls that had Hillary winning the election with 330 electoral college? If so, you may not want to trust those polls. Just saying!

Fox put out the article. The poll was done by Rasmussen. They have been conducting polling for as long as I can remember.

You know, I would have to listen to the people who are actually in charge of the GOP and knows what they're up against.

"This is going to be a challenging election year," McConnell told members of the Kentucky Today editorial board on Tuesday. "We know the wind is going to be in our face. We don't know whether it's going to be a Category 3, 4 or 5."

https://www.cnn.com/2018/04/04/politics/mitch-mcconnell-midterms-kentucky/index.html

This is nothing new. This is the usual trend in mid term elections. Some of you need to quit pretending this isn't the way things work and none of this is real.

That, to me, sounds like he understands that the party in office usually loses seats in the midterm, so he understand what they are up against.. it also sounds a bit like a rallying cry to a state like Kentucky, which is to say, "It's up to you folks whether this is a 3... or a 5"..

Yes, in my post I stated that it's the normal turn of events for this trend in the mid terms. Kentucky is a huge red state. So to me, if he actually believes a rallying cry is needed in a state like Kentucky, that certainly speaks volumes.

Unless the Blow wave takes three quarters of the House and three quarters of the Senate they will not be able to override a Trump Veto.

President Veto will buy time until the Red wave returns.
Unless of course the Blow wave is willing to deal. wink
