Your Picks: Round 1 Pick 1: Darnold, Sam, QB, Southern California (A) Round 1 Pick 4: Chubb, Bradley, DE, North Carolina State (A) Round 2 Pick 1: Guice, Derrius, RB, LSU (A) Round 2 Pick 3: Jackson, Josh, CB, Iowa (B+) Round 2 Pick 32: Sutton, Courtland, WR, Southern Methodist (A) Round 4 Pick 14: White, Mike, QB, Western Kentucky (A-) Round 5 Pick 13: Nichols, Bilal, DT, Delaware (A) Round 6 Pick 1: Apke, Troy, SS, Penn State (A+) Round 7 Pick 1: Bellamy, Davin, OLB, Georgia (A+)
Always hard to use these because you never know who's actually going to be there in later rounds. I doubt Guice lasts till the second, but if he does, I'd jump all over that. There should be lots of great CBs, WRs, OTs and RBs in the second, so just take whatever falls to us there. This is a great draft to have three 2nd round picks. Getting Guice, Jackson and Sutton Day 2 would be amazing.
White in the 4th is one of those "grab and stash" QB picks like the Skins did with Kirk Cousins. It seems like White would have way more upside than Stanton.

Charlie Casserly has our 1st round as: 1. San Darnold 4. Bradley Chubb 32 (trade with the Eagles) Sony Michel I'd be more than fine with that. We would have to give up a later pick to move up one spot, but we would get the 5th year option on Michel.I'd really be more than fine ..... I think I might even do handsprings ... somehow.

#1 - Sam Darnold #4 - Traded to Buffalo for #12, #22, and a 2nd round pick in 2019 #12 - Denzel Ward #22 - Mike McGlinchey #33 - Taven Bryan #35 - Sony Michel I've been seeing this situation a bit more recently. Number 1, I don't want the 22nd pick in the draft ever again. Number 2, I want more than that from Buffalo if we're passing on a Top4 talent, a lot more. As others have said, I want an impact stud with that pick. Dropping down to 12 & 22 might not deliver that talent (we may still get one, but odds say no). Even tossing in Buffalo's 2019 first rounder might not be enough for me.

I suppose we could always use some of the picks Buffalo gives us for 4 to trade back into the Top 10, but that logic is flawed because if we wanted a specific player we should just take him at 4, screw Buffalo. Plus, we may end up paying it all back to move back into the Top 10 to get the one guy we wanted anyway.
Personally, I just don't feel trading with Buffalo will work. I'd like to use a potential Buffalo trade to entice Denver to trade up.

There really are no bad moves in this draft early on. The key will be our 3 picks in the 2nd.
Well only high risk is Allen at #1...outside of that great talent in this draft early.
Defense wins championships. Watson play your butt off! Go Browns! CHRIST HAS RISEN! GM Strong! & Stay safe everyone!

Nathan Zegura
1. BROWNS - QB Sam Darnold (USC) - He was the top prospect when they stopped playing football and nothing has happened to change that, so the Browns turn in the card for Darnold at No. 1.
2. Giants - QB Josh Rosen (UCLA)
3. Jets - QB Baker Mayfield (Oklahoma)
4. Broncos (projected trade with Browns) - QB Josh Allen (Wyoming)
5. BROWNS (projected trade with Broncos) - DE Bradley Chubb (NC State) - QBs go 1,2,3,4 in the draft, and the the Browns are able to squeeze some extra value out of the Broncos to move down just one spot while still landing the top player on their board.
6. Colts - RB Saquon Barkley (Penn State)
7. Buccaneers - DB Minkah Fitzpatrick (Alabama)
8. Bears - OG Quenton Nelson (Notre Dame)
9. 49ers - S Derwin James (Florida State)
10. Raiders - LB Tremaine Edmunds (Virginia Tech)
11. Dolphins - DT Maurice Hurst (Michigan)
12. Bills - LB Harold Landry (Boston College)
13. Redskins - CB Denzel Ward (Ohio State)
14. Packers - CB Mike Hughes (UCF)
15. Cardinals - QB Lamar Jackson (Louisville)
16. Ravens - WR Calvin Ridley (Alabama)
17. Chargers - DT Vita Vea (Washington)
18. Seahawks - OT Mike McGlinchey (Notre Dame)
19. Cowboys - DT Da'Ron Payne (Alabama)
20. Lions - RB Derrius Guice (LSU)
21. Bengals - OG Will Hernandez (UTEP)
22. Bills - QB Mason Rudolph (Oklahoma State)
23. Rams - LB Rashaan Evans (Alabama)
24. Panthers - CB Josh Jackson (Iowa)
25. Titans - C Billy Price (Ohio State)
26. Falcons - OG Isaiah Wynn (Georgia)
27. Saints - TE Dallas Goedert (South Dakota State)
28. Steelers - LB Leighton Vander Esch (Boise State)
29. Jaguars - TE Hayden Hurst (South Carolina)
30. Vikings - OT Kolton Miller (UCLA)
31. Patriots - OT Connor Williams (Texas)
32. Eagles - CB Jaire Alexander (Louisville)
33. BROWNS - WR D.J. Moore (Maryland) - After addressing the secondary heavily in the offseason, the Browns turn to playmakers with their next two picks. Moore reminds many of a bigger, more explosive version of former Terrapins WR Stefon Diggs and would give the Browns yet another weapon in the passing game.
34. Giants - RB Ronald Jones II (USC)
35. BROWNS - RB Sony Michel (Georgia) - Michel is my favorite of the next group, possessing power between the tackles, home-run hitting ability and good hands out of the backfield. This could very well end up as Rashaad Penny or Ronald Jones II (think Jamaal Charles), but the Browns will get an excellent running back at the top of Round 2.
Andrew Gribble
1. BROWNS - QB Sam Darnold (USC) - I'm sticking to my guns at the top of the draft, where the Browns have the opportunity to take whomever they believe to be the franchise's future long-term quarterback. Darnold, at just 20 years old, would be stepping into a situation where he wouldn't be needed right away in the wake of Cleveland adding Tyrod Taylor and Drew Stanton to the quarterbacks room.
2. Giants - QB Josh Allen (Wyoming)
3. Jets - QB Josh Rosen (UCLA)
4. BROWNS - DE Bradley Chubb (NC State) - Trade possibilities will be swirling but the Browns stay put and get this year's best defensive player.
5. Dolphins (projected trade with Broncos) - QB Baker Mayfield (Oklahoma)
6. Colts - RB Saquon Barkley (Penn State)
7. Buccaneers - DB Minkah Fitzpatrick (Alabama)
8. Bears - OG Quenton Nelson (Notre Dame)
9. 49ers - LB Roquan Smith (Georgia)
10. Raiders - LB Tremaine Edmunds (Virginia Tech)
11. Broncos - CB Denzel Ward (Ohio State)
12. Bills - DT Vita Vea (Washington)
13. Redskins - WR Calvin Ridley (Alabama)
14. Packers - S Derwin James (Florida State)
15. Cardinals - QB Mason Rudolph (Oklahoma State)
16. Ravens - DT Da'Ron Payne (Alabama)
17. Chargers - DT Maurice Hurst (Michigan)
18. Seahawks - LB Harold Landry (Boston College)
19. Cowboys - LB Rashaan Evans (Alabama)
20. Lions - DE Marcus Davenport (Texas-San Antonio)
21. Bengals - OG Will Hernandez (UTEP)
22. Bills - CB Mike Hughes (UCF)
23. BROWNS (projected trade with Rams) - OT Mike McGlinchey (Notre Dame) - Cleveland finds an ideal spot to land a third first-rounder by swinging a trade with a team that might not be all that interested in having another first-rounder on the books.
24. Panthers - OG Isaiah Wynn (Georgia)
25. Titans - LB Leighton Vander Esch (Boise State)
26. Falcons - DT Taven Bryan (Florida)
27. Saints - TE Mike Gesicki (Penn State)
28. Steelers - DE Sam Hubbard (Ohio State)
29. Jaguars - WR D.J. Moore (Maryland)
30. Vikings - OT Connor Williams (Texas)
31. Patriots - CB Josh Jackson (Iowa)
32. Eagles - CB Jaire Alexander (Louisville)
33. Rams (projected trade with Browns) - C Billy Price (Ohio State)
34. Giants - OL James Daniels (Iowa)
35. BROWNS - CB Isaiah Oliver (Colorado) - Even after hammering away at the position in free agency, you can never have enough talent at the position.

Any draft that we end up with Darnold and Chubb is a good one in my mind. I don't think we go RB that early (Zegura's) and I think we take DT early, but no complaints about either.

I liked Nathan Zegura's draft. If not one of the 33rd or the 35th selection, then I could see us go for a RB with 64th selection, because after that we will just be hopefull of one falling to us rather then dictating our own choice.

Yeah saw that on the Browns site. I hope we can squeeze something out of them for that 1 slot trade down. Buffalo and the Pats might be offering a lot to make that move (I think they are the only ones with 2 first round picks besides us of course.
Actually this is a strong QB class I can see Mason Rudolf going to the Pats late first round. What do they have the infamous 22nd pick...lol

We should be at 1, so the Giants I think is where it could get interesting. I think the smart move is for them to keep the selection unless they get an offer they can't refuse. 1,2,3 QBs' come off the board. Take our guy at 4 and let the rest play hero ball for the QBs' left over. I am tired of all those IOU's that thus far have gained us little.

Your score is: 21322 (GRADE: A-)
Your Picks: Round 1 Pick 1: Darnold, Sam, QB, Southern California (A) Round 1 Pick 4: Chubb, Bradley, DE, North Carolina State (A) Round 1 Pick 19 (DAL): James, Derwin, SS/FS, Florida State (A) Round 3 Pick 3 (IND): Penny, Rashaad, RB, San Diego State (A) Round 4 Pick 4 (IND): Brown, Orlando, OT, Oklahoma (A) Round 5 Pick 13: Hill, Holton, CB, Texas (A+) Round 6 Pick 1: Ateman, Marcell, WR, Oklahoma State (A+) Round 7 Pick 1: Tate, Auden, WR, Florida State (A+)
Your Future Picks: 2019 Round 1 Pick 2020 Round 1 Pick
Traded the 3 second rounders to snag James with #19. Took Penny, wanted Michel at 64 but he went a pick earlier so traded down a few slots. Hill has had off-field concerns, I believe, but is physically very talented. Ateman and Tate - if one of them sticks, it's a win. I don't think Brown falls that far but his problems are conditioning IMHO, he has talent - worth a punt.

I like this draft, but what I don't understand is how it averages out to an A-. There isn't a single grade below an A. Therefore the average should at the very least be an A. Their math sucks.

The last one I did I traded THREE times, acquired three first round picks in 2019 ... AND still got Darnold, Ward, James, Guice, and Williams
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Cooper is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Moore is flanked out wide to the right. Chubb and Ford are split in the backfield as Watson takes the snap ... Here we go."

I did 2 full round mocks (not first-pick), the first was the Browns keeping #1 and #4, and the second with #1 and a trade with the Bills. In both cases, I just picked from likely avaialble players for the 4th-6th rounds.
1 Browns Sam Darnold, QB 4 Browns Bradley Chubb, DE 33 Browns Isiah Oliver, CB 35 Browns Taven Bryan, DT 64 Browns Justin Reid, FS 114 Browns Alex Cappa, OT 150 Browns Marcell Ateman, WR 175 Browns Jordan Chunn, RB 205 Browns Keishawn Berria, LB
- Taven and Reid are likely to be gone in reality, but were both still available in my mock. I'll need to revisit. -QBs went 1,2,3, and 6
1 Browns Sam Darnold, QB 12 Browns* Da'Ron Payne, DT 22 Browns* Orlando Brown, OT 33 Browns Justin Reid, FS 35 Browns Isiah Oliver, CB 56 Browns* Deon Cain, WR 150 Browns Ja'Von Rolland-Jones, Edge 175 Browns Jordan Chunn, RB 205 Browns Robert Foster, WR - got #12, #22, and #166 for #4, I think we'll get more it it happens, but I went pretty conservative. I also traded #64,#114, and the Bills #166 to move up to #56 to take Deon Cain, there were several teams in need of WR in that zone and I wanted to get my fave guy. With respect to Brown at 22, I think it is early, but I don't think he'll last to 33 either, so I grabbed him. - QBs went 1,2,3,4
As much as I'd love to have Chubb, I think I like the second one better.

Found another one. I loved Grady Jarret that year.
