If Seattle and the Browns are working out a teade then the targeted player/s shouldn't get discussed openly. Only the compensation.

No Browns' trades until a GM is established/after round 2. We need to get this show moving.

Thats very true - but at the same time - without having some idea of which player to target at #18, it's a very hard discussion to have.

Ideally the discussion on trade and who to pick would take place when Seattle are on the clock .... but that is not practical and is hard also.

I agree, The only position I can see that is worth trading up for is CB and there are so many pretty good ones that we can probably stay at 33 and still get one.

Right. Absolutely have a target player/s in mind IF there is trade up.

But that target shouldn't be discussed openly.

There could be a vote on the trade compensation.

And like you said a discussion/vote on the player when Seattle is on the clock.

I would vote against trading up. Unless its the bottom of the 1st to get a 5th year on a RB.

where are we at now? this thing is a stand still

I agree if we sign up for a draft we should check in now and again to see if it's our turn. If you can't you should not sign up ... JMHO superconfused

Totally agree with that. You sign up for the draft, then stay in touch. Waiting for hours for a pick is ridiculous. At this rate, the real draft will be over before this one.

I think the Ravens have about 3 hours? left.

After that the draft resumes.

CHS is gonna have some decisions to make on how to handle that GM and his pick.

If you guys go to "My Menu->My Stuff->Edit Preferences" in the DawgTalker menu, you can set this setting to Yes:

Do you want to be notified via email when you receive a private message?

It will email you when CHS PM's you about your being up for a pick. And some people can get email alerts on their phone and such.

The time stamp on the Cardinal pick 15 puts the Ravens and 442Dawg on the clock at 08:10am

https://www.dawgtalkers.net/ubbthreads.ph...aft#Post1434107

Quote:
16. On the clock: Baltimore Ravens 442Dawg

Re: Official 2018 NFL Dawgtalkers Mock Draft

From the draft rules:

Quote:
2. For the first round, every GM will have 10 hours to make a selection. The clock begins after the GM before you makes his selection.

CHSDawg isn't online right now, and correct me if i'm wrong, but it seems like at 6:10 pm the Ravens/442Dawg's time is up and 17. Los Angeles Chargers ChargerDawg in on the clock.

I would rather stay with our 1st 4 picks, and maybe try to trade up from 65 using our lower picks.

If we could come out of this draft with 5 very good players, which I think we could at 1, 4, 33, 35 and say, maybe 50.

IIRC last time we did this it flew by pretty quickly ... maybe a pick every 15 minutes (on average)

I think with the right people on at the right time, we could finish the first round tonight. If you have a pick in this round, please act as if you were on call. I'll send a message out to you all after I get to a computer.

People could also PM posters that are on here more regularly with their top five picks and then if they are not on that person can make the picks for them.
