as if we didn't already have problems with the media's relationship with its viewers to begin with, having the largest media corp force its local outlets to read a script parroting Trump's own attacks on the media only further proves that Trump and his allies are hell bent on making media outlets nothing more than state propaganda news stations that work for him.
i encourage everyone to read up on the Sinclair corp. enlighten yourselves, because its only gonna get worse.

I found myself at our local NBC affiliate about 3 weeks ago, a rarity for me. They were going to air a filler about us at the end of the 5:30 local segment. Just before our spot, they aired an extreme right op-ed by some dude I'd never seen before.
Turns out, it was Sinclair content out of South Bend, IN. Budgetary cutbacks saw the layoffs of much of the on-air staff, with more and more content being outsourced. It was the strangest local news program I'd ever seen. Found out they were snatched up by Sinclair in 2016.
Yes, creepy.

Where have you been the last several years? Sinclair has been doing stuff like this for a while. They have had there stations running mandatory company editorial for a while now. This is why I don't believe this liberal media stuff. Having all these local stations do what you say is pretty powerful.

And truthfully, I don't see it happening as much with the people talking about dems.
What I DO see is a lot of "ya'll conservatives", "ya'll republicans" "Ya'll Christians", and then derogatory stuff following each of those.
It gets old. Assuming that I, as a conservative, or Christian, or whatever.......like and endorse everything said or done by others in my label.
It's like "Oh, you voted for trump", "Oh, you're a Christian", "oh, you did this..." so you support everything from that person or group or whatever.

As a conservative and a Christian, I will answer for my own beliefs, I will, indirectly answer for the politicians that I elected (or failed to elect), I will even answer for the leaders of my faith THAT I CHOOSE TO SUPPORT.. I will not, however, answer for some no name self-professed conservative radio shock jock from St. Louis that I had never heard of until he lost his freaking mind.
