Just FYI, 44 year old Bartolo Colon is perfect through 6 innings vs the Astros tonight. Rangers 1 Astros 0. The game is on ESPN.
21 up, 21 down. Perfect through 7.
Gone in the 8th.

Downtown Cleveland's iconic 'Sax Man' passes away Maurice Reedus, Jr. was a downtown Cleveland icon.
CLEVELAND -- If you've been to a Cleveland Indians game, there's a good chance you've encountered Maurice Reedus, Jr. At the very least, you've heard him.
Reedus, who was often seen playing his saxophone in the Gateway District after Indians games, has passed away.
Joe Siebert, who directed a documentary about Reedus in 2013, confirmed the news to WKYC Monday afternoon.
Siebert says Reedus is believed to have passed away in his sleep.
Siebert directed "Sax Man," a documentary that explains the life of Reedus beyond his nights spent sitting along Prospect Avenue serenading Indians fans with the Spiderman theme song after games.

I'll be drunk by Kluber's first pitch.
Great post! Seriously.
Not funny. Just heartfelt (genuine) and casually graphic.
One of the many gems this board often produces.
A simple work of literary art.
It needs a name:
"An April weeknight of a Cleveland Indians fan."
Note: There's not much money in poetry. Keep your day job. Still 148 Indians games.
Haha! It's just been a pretty long day, we all have em'. It's nice to tune into a game n' relax and unwind. Plus, I'm just really a huge Kluber fan.
And I'm drinking this vanilla ale. I usually like to try a new beer out once a month or so, and this ale caught my eye. Good, although I wouldn't buy again. Strohs is something I haven't tried before. I'll keep an eye out for it next time around.
...
OMG Kluber just threw a nasty one. Whew that was nastyyyyyyyyyyyyyy.

I'd give it a miss if I were you. A little beer trivia for you: Stroh's beer (which was called high-school-beer when I was in high school) was bought by Pabst Blue Ribbon Breweries, along with Colt 45, Schaefer's, Schlitz, Schmidt's, Heilman's Old Style (which used to be THE beer of Wrigley Field in Chicago), and Old Milwaukee. Pabst has since been bought out by Oasis Beverages, based in Russia.

I'm guessing that's why I haven't heard or tried it before haha. Man I never heard of the beers you mentioned outside Colt 45, Schaefer's (I remember this logo as a kid for some reason) and my grandpa's favorite (or goto) beer use to be Blue Ribbon.
That was awesome to see him swat that HR in front of his hometown.
Yep, his Mom is there. Love it. They repaired that stadium heavily too they said after the hurricane. Kudos to them, I hope the crowd is having fun. Sure looks like it.
Bats are on the money now it seems. Lindor started it.
I saw the highlight of this one when I got home from work. Just look at him jogging the basees... the guy was AMPED.
There is no level of sucking we haven't seen; in fact, I'm pretty sure we hold the patents on a few levels of sucking NOBODY had seen until the past few years.
Power outage hits Puerto Rico; officials hopeful Wednesday's Indians-Twins game will be played
By Paul Hoynes, cleveland.com, 4/18/18, 3:03PM
SAN JUAN, P.R. - A power outage has hit Puerto Rico, reportedly knocking out the power to essentially the entire island.
The Indians and Twins are scheduled to conclude their two-game series on Wednesday night at Hiram Bithorn Stadium. Indians officials says a backup power source is in place if needed and the game is scheduled to be played.
AN MLB official said work is being done on the power structure at Hiram Bithorn to assure that the lights work and the game will be played.
The game is scheduled to start at 7:10 p.m. The Indians beat the Twins on Tuesday night, 6-1.
Hurricane Maria destroyed Puerto Rico's power grid in September and the island has been struggling to repair it ever since. Just recently a fallen tree caused almost 900,000 people to be without power.
News reports say that over 1.5 million customers are without power as the result of Wednesday's outage. Most of the big hotels in San Juan reported a minor power outage before their generators kicked in.
And evidently a power outage has hit both the Tribe and Twins, as it's 0-0 in the 11th.

Crappy excuse for at bats. This game shoulda been won earlier. Stayed up until the end.
Small ball is ok. Runs count as much. Just crazy how we don't get support for our pitchers better. The number of infield outs, watched strikes, and such on our part really became more unbearable as it wore on.
Maybe a "sandlot" kind of mentality is indicated. I couldn't call what I saw as scrappy, maybe one letter off.
