Add me.

First I love players who play great when it counts. Clutch players.

That defines Darnold. In 2016 as a red shirt freshman he stepped in to the starters role and won big games.

They lost JuJu Shuster and OL struggled in 2017; he still won.

His teammates believe in him. They know he gives them a chance to win. He leads his team.

That goes a long way for me. He has great instincts for the game.

His turnovers will be corrected. He works hard and he will fix that.

He is the type of guy to be a franchise quarterback.

Also Barkley. High character guy with amazing skills. Super exciting guy to watch.

I started hearing about Darnold during the 2016 college season. He had transformed the USC from winless doormats to the PAC12 champions. The first time I got to see him play was the 2017 Rose Bowl vs. PSU. Watching his performance in that game sold me. I've wanted him to be the Browns QB ever since.

I will understand if the Browns decide to go another direction, but it will break my heart.

In 2016 he has Juju Shuster and a good OL.

2017 not much in receivers and a downgraded OL. He still delivered.

Darnold can play. He is a flat out baller.

He is going to be good for a long time.

In the end I have to trust Dorsey. Darnold seems like a Dorsey guy. Winner. Leader. Hard worker. Good locker room guy. Tough. No injuries. No character concerns. Mobile, can extend plays. Fits AFC North.

When you listen to Dorsey and pick up on the type of guy he is. Darnold seems like his type.

Dorsey will do everything possible to get this right. Darnold will rise to the top of his board.
