This was a HUGE character win.

Korver came through. New guys hit some shots and played really good D. Green had a better game.

But Love. Love is a complete no show.

What he's saying is that it isn't inaccurate to criticize Kyle for three quarters when he's sucking like that.

Well a win is a win.

Nice to see them respond after losing the lead in the 4th.

I'd try to move him this summer, he's been a better deal contract wise than Thompson, but he needs to show up bigger for the role we got him for than he has.

This game made me feel ill.

What happened to the good old days where we swept the first round and it was all a giant party.

Now we are just hanging on by our fingernails.

I don't understand how a headlock and a takedown isn't a technical foul.

Refs need to go back to ref school, and make eye doctor appointments.

Man, Cavs wins always feel like loses. Straight up. I don’t think we’ll ever see what this team could truly be because we have so many lineup changes due to so many injuries this year to different players.

The only starter who didn’t miss time is...Lebron.

Anyone think there is a chance Washington takes out Toronto? If they can win game 5 there will be a TON of pressure on the Raptors.

If we can finish off the Pacers, we would have home court in round #2.

JR SWISH! That was actually the difference in the game.

But really, JR has been the difference in the series. If the team doesn't buy into what JR has been bringing defensively - they are done... We're getting there.

Thank goodness Korver kept getting touches. Simple math... one of the best shooters in NBA history is 0-4 from three, guess what happens next? Oh, and Ty, what's our record with Calderon starting? ENERGY. I hope I see the signs of Green snapping out of it... even if he practically has to have his neck snapped to turn it around. Wow. Stephenson can be a real liability.

IMO, Cav's just stamped their ticket to the ECF, they'll win the next two. Then, Wiz and Raps are the two teams most scared of LeBron in the NBA. Either series may go six on a fluke, but the Cavs will be in command throughout. LeBron will dominate, if he's done pouting.

Did not forget about Philly. I said we stamped our ticket to the Eastern Conference Finals... where I fully expect to play Philly. They won't be scared, but the stage may be too big. I think that will be a great series.

The Cavs have an offense that was built around LeBron and Kyrie dominating the ball, creating offense, and allowing others to get open. Kyrie is gone and we don't have anybody else to fill that roll and attract that type of attention.. So any time LeBron is out (or slows down from the 44 minutes a night he is playing) our entire offense shuts down.

I think this new roster has some talent on it but it's different talent that requires a different style of offense to be successful.. and we have not installed that offense.

The best this new group has looked was those first few games when they got here. LeBron would go out and they would have ball movement and people movement and they were generating good shots. Now they stand around and wait for somebody to do something.... and that somebody isn't here.

Well, we won but it pretty much solidified *if*, and a big if, we advance this series, we're going to get handled. I've accepted this with our team.

We look good and then in a blink of an eye, collapse and collapse hard. We're "still" apparently trying to find a working lineup. The list of concerns is troubling.

Clarkson needs to stop shooting, he never seems to find a rhythm. Especially when it's crunch time and we can't afford them crap possessions.

I'm not even looking forward to the next game weds like I am usually with Cavs playoff bball. Ironic that winning can still bring bad emotions...

yeah this team doesn't inspire much confidence. I still say our biggest weakness sits on a booster seat in a suit. The sets and substitutions looked so much better with Drew than Lue. Lue always seems 2 steps slow in making an adjustment.. I truly think in crunch time everyone defers to lebron and tunes Lue out. We need some guys that have that fire that are going to go out and just play hard..we seem so passive and we have been getting manhandled, (looking at you Love). We desperately need some tough nose guys. While I'm not confident we will get out of this round, I do think that because of the matchups, our 2nd round will be easier regardless who it is. Indiana has alot of matchup problems for us and much better coaching that puts emphasis on defense.

Yeah I agree. Granted it's different come playoff time, but Drew when he was in there did a better job than Lue. LBJ back or not, I don't want Lue here anymore next season. I have absolutely no confidence in him.

Maybe we'll get a better match up next round *if* we succeed.

There's a good possibility we look significantly different if James leaves. Love will need to step up and possibly, with any luck, this lottery picks turns out very high.

Just for you........this time.

I hope I don't get sucked in again, but I really don't want to talk about the Cavs on here again.

There is a poster who has changed the entire complexion of Cavs' discussion and it isn't fun. Statements like "This team is trash" have won over most of the posters and despite the team actually being in the playoffs and having attended 3 straight Finals, all I read on here is negative BS.

Y'all can have lead. I'm done. [I hope.]

Thanks, but it isn't fun anymore. I love sports because they are fun. It's enjoyable entertainment that helps me deal w/all the BS of everyday politics.

We can't even celebrate victories on the Cavs' threads anymore because one person changed the "culture" of what rooting for the Cavs was about. Too many have followed his "lead." I'm done.

Likewise, I am done w/the football talk for the most part. Too many agenda posters like Memphis, cfrs, rasta, etc.....and at least one ref supports them. I got suspended for asking a freaking question.

Y'all can have those guys. But, you ain't getting me anymore.

LOL................well, here is the bottom line. Do posters want to hear what I have to say or do they not?

And unless Purp changes how the board is moderated, they won't hear what I have to say about football and instead get to listen to the crap they've read for the last month.
