Leafs stayed alive with a mail-biting finish in Boston.

Pens win their series 4-2 vs the Flyers. Next up either the Blue Jackets or the Caps. Good luck Blue Jackets! I think they play tomorrow night.

Go Leafs!
With the Hawks out, I’d prefer they take the Cup. The Jets would be cool too.

Intoducing for The Cleveland Browns, Quarterback Deshawn "The Predator" Watson. He will also be the one to choose your next head coach.

Well, nobody has to see Tort's big, dumb face for a couple months... so that's a plus.
Glad the Pens advanced, but they're going to get eaten alive if they play like they did against the Flyers.

Toronto forced a game 7 last night and go to Boston Wednesday. I want this one badly, hate the Bruins and never saw the Leafs win a Cup. They probably won't win it this year either but I'd love to get the W in game 7 and still have hope. Our goalie is bailing us out.
Go Leafs, last night in game 6 it was emotional after the guy in a van killed 10 people in Toronto yesterday afternoon, on purpose. Did Americans hear about that?

Game 7! Anything can happen! Only one thing can happen for the Leads, a 3rd period collapse to lose a series. They’re the Cleveland of the NHL.

Shutup. Jake Gardiner is a douche defenceman. He's literally stupid.

Shutup. Jake Gardiner is a douche defenceman. He's literally stupid. I don't say it as smack talk, I say it as a frustrated "Leafs fan". If I could support a team in the east, the Leafs would be one. As the 3rd period started last night, I wondered when Boston would score two goals.....and they did quite quickly.

Lol sorry punch, I was only joking with 'shut up', I shoulda been clearer there. Just very pissed as we gagged away game 7. I've wanted Gardiner gone for years and he was terrible last night. Depressing end to the season.

I'm still pissed they gagged away that 4-1 3rd period lead to the Bruins a few years ago in game 7. That's how I knew they were going to lose again last night in the 2nd intermission. It was just a matter of time before Boston took the lead.

Sucks the Leafs lost. I thought they really grew up a little in that series. They'll be better for it next season.
Boston is a good team, but I think they are going to get curb stomped by Tampa...
Pretty fun first round

Part of the process. I knew we were a year or two away from being a legit Cup contender but I wanted that series.

I'll cheer for whomever comes out of the Winnipeg/Nashville series, I like both teams and I'm not a fan of any of the others still playing.

I dont hate pittsburgh like most but it would be nice to see another team in there. I dont hate vegas but as a browns fan it sure sucks seeing an expansion team so damn good. Meanwhile we’re approaching 20 years from expansion, and have nothing to show for it. Not their fault but im not crazy about em I do love how winnipeg has buit their team. They have an underrated goalie, 2 insanely good lines, and good depth. I could actually see them making a seeious run.

I agree. I'm tired of the Pens. I'd like to see Washington finally beat them
"First down inside the 10. A score here will put us in the Super Bowl. Jeudy is far to the left as Njoku settles into the slot. Tillman is flanked out wide to the right. Judkins and Ford are split in the backfield as Flacco takes the snap ... Here we go."

Stunner. With the game tied 3-3 in Pittsburgh approaching OT, I would have bet a small fortune on the Pens winning that game. No way I though Ovi, of all people on that team, to score a game winner.

We'll see if the Caps can continue. It's not over until they get 2 more wins.

Maybe I don't watch enough Caps games, but their MO is to goon it up a little bit whenever they're playing the Pens. Last year it was the 2 hits on Crosby. This year it's the Wilson hits. The first Wilson hit was sufficiently questionable to not warrant repercussions, but I don't see how he's not suspended after Game 3. He started high, and went higher after initial contact, and doesn't have the argument about the puck carrier suddenly changing direction like Dumoulin did. He's a fake tough-guy. Dirty hits and usually only fights the non-enforcer types. He's a poor-man's Sean Avery... with the dirty play but minus any sort of personality and minus some talent.

These two teams hate each other. When Matt Cooke was doing his Matt Cooke stuff for the Pens, they deserved all the criticism they got. This is no different.

https://www.thescore.com/nhl/news/1539639 Watch: Brad Marchand licks Ryan Callahan Marchand should be suspended. That is horsebleep. So glad the Ning got the win to go up 3-1.

Marchand's game has come a long way the last few years. He's an all-star caliber player now. Why on earth is he still pulling antics you see out of 4th line minor league scrubs?
I have enjoyed the hell out of these playoffs. The pace of all these games has been so good. Not a lot of boring hockey.
There were some real snoozer playoff series' last year.
Oh do I want Pittsburgh and Washington to go 7. Winnipeg/Nashville has been amazing. Las Vegas keeps winning.
I don't get too much into awards debates, because it's mostly stupid, especially in the NBA, but has there ever been a more obvious award winner than Gerard Gallant for the Jack Adams? (Coach of the Year)
Like seriously, just give that guy the trophy now. What an amazing job he has done. One of the best I have ever seen in any sport. Just ridiculous.

No one else is close. How could they be? Jon Cooper has done a nice job in Tampa as well as Bruce Cassidy creating a great turnaround in Boston, but it would be insulting to even list any other finalist. I was dead wrong about them. Assuming they finish off the Sharks it is going to be fascinating how they fare against both Winnipeg or Nashville because the level in play is going to increase. I really have a hard time picking between nhl playoffs and college football as my favorite spsorta to watch as a fan of the whole thing (and not just rooting for my team)
